Ok so can anyone give me a explanation why Xerneas looks like this and not like normal?

Outside the battle, Xerneas goes on his Neutral form (Which is: Completely Blue & Gray), meanwhile on battle he goes like his Active form.

xerneas will turn blue ehn not battleing and will be colorfu when battleing
