I dont know why , but pokemon y got boring. I did all of the side things. I wish we had DLCs for pokemon. We could have new legendary battles and villains. Another idea for a DLC is that you and your "friends" in the game find new villains and battle them. That's never gonna happen though.

Sadly, Pokémon games are very short... have you collected all the Vivilons?
I hear each colored Vivilon is from a different region of the world, the real world that is.
Could give you something to do...

I'll try. Hunting for shiny pokemon is pointless. It's just a recolored version of the same pokemon , so I stopped hunting for them. I'm only looking for a shiny noibat for a friend.

Shiny Pokémon tend to look too odd and out of place as well... once you beat the game, I know there is a detective mission you can complete but after that, all you can really do is battle repeatedly and get more Pokémon you might already have... an MMO would be nice, but unfortunately the creators cant afford it.
