We all have our own opinions, but arguing won't solve our problems, it just makes them worse.
The rule is set, and yeah some of us are a little iffy about it, but it will blow over, just like it did when the breeding limit was set. I'm sure Horsy knows what's best for the species c:

There's a difference between arguing and discussing, though. As long as everyone is polite, I feel we should be allowed to discuss important changes like this ... It's kinda the point of this place<3
Friendly discussion doesn't hurt people's feelings, it helps them explain them so they arent left upset and frustrated.

This topic is getting really spammy for the fanclub. And everyone who wants to rant/discuss certainly has the right to. I've set up a livestream where I will idly doodle WMEs and you guys can talk without clogging up the thread. It's getting close to 900 pages.

I understand this completely, the red that has been in lucifer and a few others is a bit un-natural, if you used a red brown, it would have the same effect in a way. I'm sorry if i caused a whole red-quip craze and will drop the demon-quid thing a few levels if this gets out of hand, i have no hard feelings against this XD I can actually see how things were getting out of hand.

...I'm tired of it. I'm tired of not being allowed to expression my opinions without getting a pm telling me to remove it. I'm tired of watching as we get told to be quiet when we are mere discussing a rule change.

I'm out. Done. No more. Me and my equids are leaving the fanclub for good. I'm fed up and done with how this thread is run much like a dictatorship. People have opinions and they should be allowed to discuss them civilly. Not get told to be quiet about it. This is a fanclub. A place where we should be allowed to talk about such a thing.

I try not to post during the FC's little spurts like this but P:

What the rule is set aside, since this happens for any change to WME's, I don't think "discussing" a new rule by saying how you dislike it, don't think it should be changed, how unfair it us, etc. (negative things basically if you get my drift), is actually a discussion. It's tearing apart the rule and horsy's vision for the species with it. Don't get me wrong, you can discuss things and have a negative opinion but there's a different way to go about that. Like Char said, being polite. However that isn't what's happening here right now.

At the end of the day, this is horsy's species and one we have all fallen in love with and if this color or that coat is a make or break for you, I'm sorry. But getting into these funks is useless.

Plus, when someone speaks up to explain or tell you guys to drop it, it's usually for the better. I don't think Jay (or anyone but he seems to be frequent target) is trying to stomp on your freedom to express opinion here, he's just doing his job as a mod to keep the thread a nice place. Just imagine if you were completely new and chanced on the FC in a state like this, you probably wouldn't want to post. Jay isn't trying to take away your opinions, just the malice and ill feeling clinging to this thread.

Bantard, that is very true. I guess I just imagined that horsy might take our thoughts an feelings about it into account for the future, which is why we say them. But I guess maybe not.
Regardless, whether or not discussing is good, we definitely do need to be more polite and civil than we are. But I feel that's more easily solved by working it out and talking over time than snapping off the conversation and leaving those raw emotions unsealed.
Sort of like, if you have some dogs, and when you introduce them they doń get along. But they're going to have to live together in the same space eventually. Shutting them away in separate cages trmporarily doesn't fixit, just postpones it, and when they're eventually all together they'll probably fight more. Muzzling/chaining them up for a bit (bans) doesn't help either, they're just now pent up and annoyed in th end. You need to find a way to work out and solve their disputes instead.
