I don't think anyone is getting worked up or upset. We should be more then able to discuss the new rules on here. As for the red in the mane, I don't know if I completely agree with that. A minium maybe allowed or a rare chance but completely gone just...it takes away from it. even more so after we just got a cut of things we can ask for and see. What's going to go next, the eye colour options? Full quip? All this change lately and how things are being run and addressed to the point we can't freely express our opinions is driving me nuts. I'm honestly tempted to take my equids and leave. Its no longer welcoming here if we can't even discuss how we view one change in the rules unless we agree with it completely.

I really think it would be best if we dropped the subject or took it to pms, that way no one gets too worked up or upset.

I agree with Charchar.This is a discussion thread, and this is something people will want to talk about.

This is the thing that causes more problems though, stopping people before they can let the issue go.

If two little dogs are fighting and you pick one up and remove it, I guarentee you the next time those little dogs see eachother, another fight will happen because they didn't get to work out their little issue the first time.

By forcing people to stop in fear of a fight, you're actually causing one in the future. Not everyone's feelings are going to be safe all the time from other people's opinions.

That's just a fact. This is a fanclub where all our opinions can be shared, someone isn't going to always like someone else's opinion.

So is this going to turn into a group where no one can share opinions because everyone's worried of getting their feelings hurt?

And with that, I'll be taking my leave of the fanclub permanently. The maturity level here is a little too low for me as of late, and it's been way too stressful.

None of those horses are bright red. The rule is against crimson quip, or crimson stripes in the mane. Don't like it, you can always leave.

yes i'm aware what we say won't change anything, but it would be nice to just talk about it.

personally i think the red in the mane was a little too unnatural and getting way too common but maybe they could just be super rare, like 1 in every 100 equids or something.

I gotta say, I liked it when red was just a kinda rare thing you could get in manes from dracqyids. I mean, they're not like regular horses at all, it makes sense to have a bit of bright/exotic color in the mane. When horsy made lucifer and that set off the demo quid craze, that did seem a bit excessive. But I don't see anything wrong with a little flare of red in already unnatural drxquids and the like.

I don't think there's any need to fight, or get angry at people who disagree with you for having 'no maturity'. There's nothing wrong with having an opinion, no matter which side you're on, and I think it's good to discuss things instead of letting them be packed away til they bubble over. Just as long a everyone's reasonable and polite.

Same about takin my equids and leaving. I think it would be fair if the breedings for WMEs that have red could have offspring with red and the foundations didn't have red. That way they wouldn't be gone as quick but the red would eventually run out...

Jay has a right to his opinions and he does have a job to do but not allowing us to discuss something so small like a change in rules of a colour is absurd. So we are only allowed to freely speak about things that line up with the mods opinions. I'm tired of it. I'm tired of not being allowed to expression my opinions without getting a pm telling me to remove it. I'm tired of watching as we get told to be quiet when we are mere discussing a rule change.

I'm out. Done. No more. Me and my equids are leaving the fanclub for good. I'm fed up and done with how this thread is run much like a dictatorship. People have opinions and they should be allowed to discuss them civilly. Not get told to be quiet about it. This is a fanclub. A place where we should be allowed to talk about such a thing.
