Is there a story behind how you received your first equid. First breeding and first adoption, just for fun's sake. Why not, this seems like funFirst adopt:Monday 18th of June 2012 Maz made an equid mare that was called
'Lemon and White Twist', I instantly liked the design she made, and I felt like applying. But, the thing was, she was a post race kind of competition. I had already applied for a solid amount of other equids, with sadly, no luck to them. I toyed around with some words to try and get a name that was new and unique. First I tried to search for a name with a meaning to it, but nothing fitted. But in the end, Shiniko popped up into my mind.
It took roughly 2 hours or so before we got to the page we was going for, and I remember the chaos of trying desperately to get my form in. It was madness of clicking submit and watching that someone else had posted before you so you had to click submit again but the same thing happend again, and again. But by the end, I got my form in. I was terrified to see where it had landed considering page 21 popped up. So I clicked back, scrolled to where I was, and noticed. I was at the correct post position. I was over the moon with happiness, though, I was cautious. Because I've seen instances where the post positions have been different for other people. But several people still congratulated me with winning, and that was when I knew I had won. I had won my first equid.
This year of june is the 2nd year of my ownership over her, and I couldn't love her more. Even with my herd of 8.
First breeding:My first breeding was by the pair of Shiniko and
Saracer, and I had planned it through 2012, but didn't get it before Monday 7th of January 2013. (<--Something about me and Mondays it seems)
After waiting for almost a year and a half I was thrilled to see that Lilian opened her breeding slots and I pretty much attacked her inbox and sent her the trade, and I got a slot!
I also got to see
Kuñjo being made, and to tell the truth. I didn't love his design from the first moment, I was quite disappointed, as he was nothing I had tried to imagine through all those months. (I thought he would be some sort of paint or something)
But when that is said, he grew on me, and I would've never given him anyway to anyone now. Because I love that little colt now.
[ And his name is also completely made up for all I know, I couldn't find a fitting name for him that had a meaning, so while in Spanish class I toyed with some spanish letters and suddenly I had Kuñjo ]
