I don't actually compare my characters' voices to actors etc. Some have influences, like Kharon's voice is influenced by Paul Bettany's voice, but it also has a much smoother quality to it that was made by myself. I often have to use actors to describe voices to people, but they're never as close as the voices that I hear from the characters.

That actually a really cool answer. I admit, for me some take inspiration from voices and yet sound different. But for Jagger, and some others there voices are one's I couldn't imagine changing. Seeing as Jag is my example I may as well admit he speaks kind of like Thor (recent version). He has the same, kind of blunt way of putting things, his voice is rough due to the changes made to his voicebox.

If anything, the majority of my characters' voices come from my natural environment X3 Like Azureus sounds an awful lot like one of the ICT teachers at my school, with some changes, but his voice is the closest. It's a kind of Irish accent that has been diluted with English because of time spent in the country.

A lot of mine are British, because that's what I find easiest to connect to vocally. As a Brit myself, I have heard and understand how they would speak, or roughly how they would speak (depending on different areas), and I can work with that to create dialect, accent etc for them.

Grey would be voice acted/ acted by Tom Hiddleston, and not just because he's my babe
Grey is known for his conflicting emotions, and it comes out in his actions. Hiddleston is incredible at emoting these conflicts, and would really sell grey as a believable character. Hiddleston is also almost the same height as grey so it works out!

I really try and avoid this by having characters from everywhere around the world, but German is pretty prevalent in my charas

As with Sola....a lot of mine are Brits too. It's home, so it makes sense, its the type of speech I hear most, although the specific accents and such change. Some of more from my original home city, some are more similar to my slightly posher new home. Obviously due to where I am a few are welsh, scottish or irish just because they are the type of people I encounter often.

no but seriously a lot of my characters have cockney accent's like me 8)
some are more obvious while others are more diluted, i suppose?
there are some characters who don't have cockney accents, bandit, for example, has a scottish accent
