if a friend gave you or helped you to get a character and you lost connection with it what do you do?

maybe try retiring it?

is it ok to have characters revert to background characters that get less art but are still loved in your mind instead of selling them?

Am I allowed to ask to commission someone to create the design on here? Or is that against the art rules? I never know, they're kind of tricky.
The situation would be that I have the lines, but I want someone else to create the design in them, but I have no guidelines for the design so it'd up to them to design.
