What is your preferred method of getting characters? Do you draw them? Adopt them? Buy them? Any other ways you get them?

I buy them. Personally, I hate the "adoption forms" because unless the requirement is a story, I can never do art for it. If I could do good art, I would draw characters for myself.

Buying. I just got so angry at myself recently becuase I saw a dream character of mine UFT but I spent all my money. Ugh xc
I also think it's easier since I kinda suck at making designs since I'm not a very good artist (digitaly). I'm not a fan of adoption forms becuase they are a pain. I seem to never win them. Buying just ensures that I do get them

I draw them. Never adopted or bought a character XD Or they're made for rps and I like them and use them more.

I love buying. It's simple, easy, and I get to have the character much quicker than adopting, where you have to sit through that nerve-wracking wait to find out if you won or not. Unfortunately, I am broke on literally every single site I frequent. 8| Not to mention most of the good adopts tend to get snapped up in minutes lol. So while they do tend to require more work, adopting is the primary way I get my characters.

I'm half buy, half design them myself.
From times to times i order a custom character.
I don't really like adopting like JBD or kiamaras' system. Most part of the time they let who didn't win sad.
