um um lemme count;; i have 12 active ones rn, and i think that's a good amount. i dont really wanna go over 15 though, because i know that i wont use them if i do.

Ugh. I am in the process of making another dog character. I like the concept I am getting for him but I hate having to take a picture of it then upload it to my computer then put on photoshop then redraw the lines AND then I have color it! By then I don't like how the lines look or mybsister won't let me borrow her tablet. Why is making characters so hard?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

um well. I love them all, when i loose love or such I normally sell or give away, theres one currently I'm thinking of returning to the designer as I havent shown him the love he deserves but I'm currently on the fence

in other news I think Hoar is making his way quite fast into my main favorites list of characters. He actualy may be my most simplistic character but somehow his ghostness makes me love him to death!

how many characters do you have? Do you think it's too many, too little, or just right?

I have 53 really really active characters that I do stuff with daily, they're mostly humans. Then there's another... ah, 30 or so active characters that I still use a lot just less often. Most of my CS characters fall into this group. Then I have about 30 active bat characters but they don't have refs or art because no one draws bats, so they aren't quite as active as the first two groups mentioned. Then finishing off the group, there's probably another 50 non-active characters that I've either a) never used yet or b) started to use but got side tracked... So a total of about 160 characters? Very rough estimate. And this is only main characters, too. I have another 100 or so side characters worth mentioning, some of them very active (like Anders <3) but they're just minor players in the lives of other characters I love so they don't get art or anything. So I'd say I have somewhere between 260-300 characters in my complete collection.

I do think it's too many, simply because I could never get art of all of them T-T in an ideal world I'd have art of everyone but that's a lot of money even if I'm just sticking to the 160ish maim characters. However, I love all of them. Like really really love them. Even the side characters make me happy. So I don't think any number is too much as long as you have places in your heart of them all!
