How long can a rat go without food?

I'm just asking- I'm not attempting to starve my ratties or anything. Just want to know a random fact.

WOW i havent been on for a long time......

@KitKatKim- not to terribly long, they have very low preserves for food so it important that they always get their food, my rat has an extremely high metabolism, so i have to feed him more than what the food package says, he eats like crazy!!!

and my rats FAV food is blue berries! OMG he would do any thing for them, oh and also rice crispies too, they get eaten fast so they are good for teaching a rat tricks

I never knew that. I thought you could only feed then those boring no-sugar health cereals.

Have you ever had a rat?: At the moment we have 13 pet rats here with us. We have had a lot of rats in the past few years. All the 13 are boys. *g* They live in 3 groups. 6, 3 and 4. The four rats are only here for looking for someone to adopt them, but they are here quite a while now. :-) They are all so lovely! :-) I do love rats very very much! :-)
