Well what about ranting about Pet peeves and hoard complaints( Ie. people complaining about a hoard you have, hoarders, people who hoard VR/R ect) ?

a) the person was rude
b) the trade was unfair
c) they broke your rules

I think we should address the FTT here too. I know I've had general rants about just the low quality of the FTT advice lately but I'm not sure that really belongs on the FTT unless it's tied directly to a trade. It's frustrating but I think it honestly really should be on the TTAY thread instead. Would you guys agree with that? I mean I would personally like to have it here more but to fit with the mods' regulations it seems like those might have to be moved.

Would the rants just be about how unhelpful it's being or how bad the advice just happens to be in a certain time frame? Just wanted to make sure I'm not misreading anything. :3

I don't think people should be allowed to complain about hoarders. It's rude, and it's not like (all) hoarders scam people out of their pets. If anything, we pay more. :/
(( Unless you meant that people should be allowed to rant about anti-hoarders, then my bad. ^^; ))

And PMing about locked pets- yes. That was kind of under rule breaking, though not all people have the 'If it's locked, it's not for trade' rule.

i think we have always been able to rant if someone pms us about hoards and about offering on locked pets, not everyone has a rule locked pet = nft, however, it should be pretty clear if its locked its not available, ranting on nft open group pets is not permitted and i think should stay that way

also there should be an option for locking items, but still being able to view them

i dont think anyone gets warned for ranting about nft items, but items are open (i guess its because you cant lock them unless you want no one seeing them.)

I agree with Topiratti. Locking really isn't that hard. I find those open groups a pain to wade through... Especially if I wanna search by my wishlist and not by a certain species or year.

I think there should be a rule added about just posting a link to a trade and complaining about how it's unfair.
I just don't think posting unfair trades is a great thing to rant about :I
I mean, getting mad at a bad trade is completely fine, but I see the same people posting every slightly unfair trade they get.
Unless it's got a message that really ticks you off, I think posting twice a page about how people send things you dislike isn't necessary.

I've seen newer players get their feelings hurt because some players feel the need to take any opurtunity they can to post on the TRT.

I'm probably not being clear on what I mean, I'm not really sure how to word it.

I guess what I mean is, it gets boring to see a page full of "unfair!" rants.
Everyone gets unfair trades, I think it would be better if rants were a little more.. personal?

I never saw the point to open pet groups, I can understand not locking your items, but i find it quite annoying when you see my pet blah, blah, blah, and blah are neft, offer and foe, or pets in my iluffmom group is nft, offer and be foed, or come to a story book rules and it says offer on me and ill tear you out, tear you up, master will foe etc...

its not needed, if your not wanting anyone to offer on pets, dont even wl lock them, just lock so no one can offer on them, if theyre open, theyre open for trades

items i can understand since you cant lock them like pets and still view all your items

i quite like ranting on unfair trades, its not like anyone knows who it belongs to, unless the player find sit and replies back

i think the rule to not complain about being ranted, or reply to a rant about you should still stay

ive posted about unfair trades, most were years apart.

maybe only post of unfair trades if theyre actually fair

like dont post an "unfair" trade with a pps lion on your side and a 09 rare on the other side?

I guess that is my concern with the Do not reply unless you have a rant thing too, I feel like people would rant about every little thing just so they can reply, and I know I was guilty of that as well, so I feel that if you are trying to help someone with a trade that is actually fair, you do not need a rant



I have a few more things that came to mine I think some thing like this is spam, even if it is ranting about the same thing

On the open pet group, I know a few people that like to give people a chance to get a locked group pet, I know some people think this is taunting or what have you, but for me I don't always know what/ if I will trade a locked pet so I unlock it for one week during holidays

I see what you mean ziggy - but I've been asked to pay two sorbets for a marionette.
However if someone offers a pet that's the same rarity but four months away... that's not worth it.

In regards to the FTT... I'm not sure. I mean if there are specific times where all the advice is bad then maybe. I remember seeing posts like "Wow there's no one who knows rarities on the FTT right now" and heading over there myself to help. It's good to have a heads up since I don't always check that thread.
But I'm not sure. I think we need to make sure that the TRT really stays on topic if we want to get our rights back and I'm not sure where that stuff should fall.

In regards to locking things here's my personal take:

Okay:
- Ranting about certain items listed in rules as NFT (e.g. only have one of, store items, the fox plushie, etc.)
- Ranting about offers of pets that go against your rules for C$ (i.e. if rules say C$ for list only and they're offering a random rare)
- Ranting about 1-sided suggestion or PM "offers" on completely locked pets
- Ranting about 1-sided suggestions/PMs asking for C$ when it is locked and can't be added to your side

Not okay:
- Ranting about all items being NFT but they're still unlocked
- Ranting about random items being NFT with no indication in rules - how are they supposed to know?
- Ranting about all offers on C$ when C$ is NFT (since you can select to "lock" C$ offers)
