Actually, I kind of liked Ethan. His character was cool.

Well, yeah! I mean, he was all like, "You, don't be disrespecting my mom." And then he signs up for a WAR, against the GODS, so his mom will maybe get a little recognition. That's pretty cool. And then, when he realizes just how ridiculous he's been for helping Kronos, he sacrifices himself so Percy and Co won't die. That's pretty brave. I really liked him.

also, I'm pretty glad he was there as a character. I mean, he was pretty unique and stuff based off of what I can see.
He also made Percy realize there needed to be more minor gods and goddesses recognized, so that was part of his
request, even though it was probably because they didn't need more demigods turning against them but.. a part
of him wanted Ethan to be happy. That's probably why he didn't kill him, he would feel guilty. He'd feel
guilty killing anyone who understood what it was like and stuff, someone his age, ya know?

Yeah. I kind of always felt like Ethan had spunk. Spunk and Moxie. He was willing to fight anything to prove himself, (See BotL Chapter Something...), and then his dying request was for Percy not to let it happen again. Agh, sometimes it's so hard to describe my feels.

It should have killed him instantly, but the blade shattered. Ethan fell back, grasping his stomach.
