About the BMA

desert_rose and I started this on a whim - we just wanted to see happy CS users everywhere (as cliche as that actually sounds), and we also wanted to give priority to the older users on CS who had been on hiatus for a while and were in need of pets to get them up to date.
Thus, the BMA was born! ^.^
We started as a small adoption center, with Rose being the main center while I ran raffles and whatnot - we're still there, actually, but our modus operandi has changed and we're now sending pets to people on the Main List in our Main Thread. We're still not giving away List Pets, and I don't think that rule will ever change, but we will try to trade for List Pets and then we'll auction them especially for BMA 'members'.

Who's who in the BMA:
jhey0aira - that's me! ^.^ I've been a member on CS since 2008 (wow I'm old) and I've had my share of ups and downs here. Most of the users here are amazing and just plain wonderful, which is why I always end up returning to CS even though I've tried to quit numerous times. I'm one of the co-founders of the BMA, and I'm in charge of the Raffles as well as the regular pet distributions.
desert_rose - the other co-founder of the BMA and a really good friend of mine who is in charge of pet distributions among other things. ^.^
Shiro Tora - one of our Helpers - she helps with the pet distributions as well. ^.^

Blue Moon Alliance wouldn't be able to exist without the continuing help of generous CS members like you! There are many ways for you to help us help the other wonderful members of this site. If you're interested so far, please read on!

Help to Spread the Word About BMA

We're always looking for help with advertising! We aren't asking you to create threads or send messages just to advertise us, however. While we'd certainly love it if you would mention us to your friends, we wouldn't want you to spam

Hopefully, we'll soon have BMA banners, badges and stamps for you to use while advertising! At the moment, however, all of our banners were for BMAA (Blue Moon Alliance Adoptions), and since we are now much more than adoptions - and since our adoption center has changed to a center for special adoption events - those banners are essentially defunct. We will update this post as soon as we have some free art for you to use, though!

Letting Us Rehome Your Collection

Before you panic - this option is intended for members who are planning on leaving CS entirely and would like to find new homes for their pets and items. We aren't asking that you send us your whole collection if you are planning on still being active here!

Basically, the main reason that BMA is able to exist is because of an old CS member. This member, Drucilla, gifted desert_rose her entire remaining collection - thousands of pets in all. She had been a member here for years and had acquire a ton of pets, including several large hoards that have now gone rare. These pets have provided the foundation for BMA's Helpers to be able to run BMA. Without her generosity, there is a good chance that BMA as it stands wouldn't exist at all.

However, one day those pets will inevitably run out. So, all that we would ask of you here is that if you ever decide to leave CS for good, that you please simply take some time consider allowing BMA to re-home your pets and items for you - we can even re-home rares and up through our Help Center or Free Raffles.

This way, BMA will continue to have a stock of pets for all of its projects, your pets and items will find new homes where they'll be loved, and you won't have to make the effort to accept a bunch of re-homing requests - if you let us know that you want to leave us your collection and unlock all of your pet and item groups, we will even add everything to a trade for you, so that you simply have to hit 'accept'! ❤

And of course, if you ever decide to return to CS, you would be welcome to come to BMA to help rebuild your collection; we obviously can't guarantee that we can return the actual individual pets that you sent, or even each and every coloration, but we will work our butts off to get you back on your feet with a decent collection and spares for trading.

Donation Information

Thank you for considering donating to BMA! We certainly appreciate any and all help that you'd like to send our way

While we will always accept any pet, item, and C$ donations, there are some things that we need more than others:

-Rares and VRs from any years.
-Uncommon pets - especially older uncommons.
-All pre-2011 pets.
-C$.
-Event and Shop items.
-Malk Pets and Special Species (such as lions, rabbits, guinea pigs, etc).

We need these the most because a.) these are what the people that we help need usually the most, and b.) these are what we sometimes have trouble acquiring on our own. However, as stated above, we are thrilled to receive any donations at all, so please don't feel as if you must donate something from that list!

**Rose encourages you to please send your donations to Jhey or Shiro Tora first, as Rose currently has the most spares available. Donations sent to Rose may have to be sent on to Jhey or Shiro Tora anyway, so she would really appreciate it if they went to those two to begin with <3 She *is* accepting donations sent her way though, and has a particularly strong need for rare / VR pets to use for the Help Center.

Before you Donate...
Before you donate, please be aware that your donation will be used for BMA - but *possibly* in a different fashion that you may expect. While many donations will be used directly for BMA - by being given away through our Help Center, Raffles, or Special Adoption Events - *some* donations may be used to trade for things that BMA currently needs for it's projects. The profits from said trades will then be used for BMA, not for any of BMA's Helpers, but a trade is still a trade. We cannot say beforehand what we will be using your donation for, as it really depends on what our current needs are, and those needs change daily. However, in essence, every donation is used directly to help BMA, and neither Rose, Jhey, nor Shiro Tora will in any way benefit from your donations <3 We just wanted you to know!

Donor Incentives
Our donor incentives are pretty vague, but they do exist. First of all, you MAY receive a thank-you gift from the Helper than you send your donation to; this is definitely not guaranteed, and likely won't equal the value of your donation (otherwise it'd be a trade), but every once in a blue moon we will send something your way if we receive a donation from you.

Secondly, we *do* have private Donor Raffles. We do look for a certain amount / quality of donations before putting a member on our Donor Raffle list, but that information will never be advertised, as we do not want people to donate solely to enter our Donor Raffles - rather, we want to reward those who were generous enough to donate simply because they want to help out. We also do not advertise what we are raffling away, who won the current prize, etc, for the same reasons listed above. Basically, if you win a Donor Raffle, you will suddenly receive your prize and a message. We're crazy like that!

How to Donate
1.) Pick which Helper you would like to send your donation to.

2.) Send that Helper your donation, and be sure to say that what you are sending is a BMA Donation in your trade!

3.) If your name doesn't appear on the Donor List within one week, please PM desert_rose and let her know that you should be up here!

BMAA's Pre-Hiatus Donor List
