What would you do if you no longer wanted to coown but yo where worried they would break up a character couple between you two if you broke it off?

If they threaten to do something like this, I would just break the co-own and the couple.
I wouldn't want to be forced into keeping a co-owning, especially if this is the only reason I had them.
Only way I would keep the couple is if we can come to some other sort of agreement.
That is only my opinion though.
