How did you decide the design/colors and animal for your fursona? What about items? How did you pick their name?
Do you think its okay to have more than one fursona?Tsuki was in her making proses starting off as a dragon. But I didn't feel like I was a dragon, I'm not brave or powerful or noble. Then it shifted to pure gold Kitsune and I was trying to make it work but it was just blah and so I went back to the drawing books. While rethinking I started thinking cat and somehow I ran across the Bakeneko, and I read it and it was like oh my gosh it's the Kitsune but in tact form! But I still wanted the fox and I still wanted the cat so I shoved the two together into a shape. And then I went to my friend Kai and said I want a fox head and body with cat feet and Snowleopard tails, sketch for me. She sketched and then I colored it/designed it. The bluish color was cuz I know pure black is a pain and used so much and at the time I was playing a werewolf who was a blue gray and I loved her color. For her pattern, purple is my favorite color and I like swirls, if you look at my physiology notebook there's a bunch of never ending line drawings with swirls worked into them. Items well the first ine she had was her ID bracelet because it was a way to add my personal symbol to her without going my little pony in her hip and it connected me with her because I have my own ID bracelet though mine says Luna which is technically Tsuki's first name. Then like two weeks later I'm looking at Tsuki and going what the fluffy is wrong with me where is her connection to dragons *facedesk* and so I added my dream necklace because if she's me she needs dragons. For name, first name = screen name second name = screen name in Japanese pronounced wrong, last name = species name
Finally, I believe in having one fursona but depending how its done multiple can work too. It's all owner preference though
And now I have a huge art piece

Tsuki is bottom left, art is by Treori. It was an entry art in my friend Jen's sona contest.
Funny ironic bit of this. Tsuki who's mostly fox is bottom row far left, top row far left is also a fox. These are the only two foxes (I think) in this picture. Way back when I got Tsuki's first headshot it was by Sebeon and two spots where open, the one I nabbed and the one that other fox nabbed, both foxes both by Sebeon, same commissioning time.
When naming a character, do you name it after its design, a name you really like, or something else?Alot of it is after an element or word it makes me think of
Why so you all have moth characters and don't tell me! I'm the aspiring entomologist here *points at username* Luna moth! Why you no show me soooooner!

Both my moth babies, based in real moths, art by Sebeon
Guys remember to credit your artists. Like two pages + forgot to when answering the HQ question. If you show art you have to credit it. I'm not going back and pming over ten people so please remember for future reference Sorry but I am a gen helper and I do check the rules and I have never seen so many people forget that rule, I honestly use it all the time to find artists to see about commissioning
