Both, I adore challenging myself with complex characters, and simple is always nice when muse is low but you still want to draw.

What do you do when you first get a new character? Make art, order art, sign up for a RP? etc etc etc...
Draw draw draaawww! I rarely ever order from anyone since most of the times I can't afford what they want as payment. I can't rp due to different problems, so I just stick to drawing, and drawing comics if I want to give them a good story and use them.

I tend to go foe both since I love a challenge and some of my favorite charries are complex, but then I have pretty simple charries that I love as well.

Depends of my mood, but most part of the time, i prefer semi-complicated characters (with "semi" i mean: complicated, but not impossible).

I usually make a base of whatever animal I want as my sona .
Then I choose a natural coat, and then I go from there . c:

I like the more complex characters if they have an actual design to them .
If it's just one of those characters that has an abundance of spots and checkers,
and then some stripes here and there, I can't draw those . ene;

I'm kind of behind on that though, so I make sure to save
