no, all you have to do is post here <3 All we require in you posting is an example of your art c: and it has to be your art entirely. And hey, some artists here may want to follow you on dA or work out art trades, so leave your deviant art name here as well if you're comfortable with that.
'can i do art trades here?'
yes, yes you can. You can even ask for art of your characters here. there is no rule on if it has to be too simple or too complex. If it's your character and you want art of it, you can post it here. Get a new character? feel free to post a link of it.

well, nothing that violates CS rules, really. you can post characters, ask for art trades, ask for characters here but you may not beg for someone to give you a character. You can post fan art, you can post pretty much anything that has to do with art.

Some of the people on this thread have been in your shoes and actually continue to be. We know how it is, you're ignored and then you have to continuously repost in hopes to get an answer. we encourage everyone to reply to people's posts, especially if no one has yet. ignoring posts will not be tolerated here; this is a place for recognition. Please understand that. c: now, this is not to say, don't post anything here. It just means that you should be considerate and post commenting on other people's post. At least comment on three and if you can, try to comment on more.

well, the best advice I can give you is to stay away from them. This does not give you to be rude to them or anyone associated with them in anyway. Perhaps they were on mobile, or meant to reply and forgot. Just try to be nice to everyone on this thread.
