Hello there ladies and gents!

Sorry I haven't been very active since the beginning of the year. I had gravely underestimated the amount of work I needed to do for University. Gravely underestimated. As a result I have been unable to complete most of the Christmas Gifts from my 2014 events, which I know a number of you have been waiting for. Also over the past month, when I haven't been working on assignments or revising for exams, I've been boosting up my new Howrse account on the International server. My old accounts on both the UK and International servers got deleted due to inactivity ( ), so I've had to start from scratch to reestablish my TB and Mustang breeding programmes. It seems to have worked this time!

But at 1pm (+0 GMT) tomorrow afternoon I will be walking out of my last exam of this year and heading off into summer, which means I'll be able to work on the remaining Christmas Gifts and contribute more to the Cottonwood community during this time too! I'm also uber-excited about being able to accepting customs and breedings again- it feels like it's been AGES!!!



Sadly however I won't be as active as last year, as to free up my summer next year I will be starting my undergraduate dissertation over the holidays. All this means is that I will only be finishing off events, helping out with events and possibly not participating in as many events as I did last year (though I might be making exceptions for the MM 2015! ). This video sums up pretty much how my summer is probably gonna make me feel! XD


BUT YES, I will be making my return on Wednesday afternoon, so keep an eye out for updates! Ciao for now! <3 xxx

So happy to see that CWHR is going to pick up soon- I promise, I'm coming back! I didn't expect to get hit by so many work hours alongside family visits, but I will have a break soon, and I do have multiple pieces of exciting news to share! But for today, I gotta run now, but keep your eyes peeled for a series of horses later tonight that are my gift to the community. Because, as some of you know, I am growing older today. XD I am hoping to show my appreciation for you all over the last few years with gifts to you, so please, please, please, please, DO NOT GIFT ME ANYTHING.

Hi guys! I know I have been totally M.I.A. recently, unfortunately it's just been a mess of extended family visits, doubling of my work hours, tons of chores/labor around the house, and animal stuff to take care of. I'll be honest, I've also had a good deal of frustrating and/or upsetting information lately, some losses, and I've been pretty exhausted. But I don't want to turn this into a rant, I wanna stay positive! ^^

On the plus side, my mom did get a new horse, I'll post pictures soon! ^^ He's a very handsome boy. We also have a lovely new round pen.

I am truly sorry for how absent I've been and how behind I am on things. I wanted to give you all a heads up in my general to-do list. My goal is that all of this will be done by the end of June. I've missed you all terribly! If you notice something is missing, please tell me. (Don't expect to see specific usernames, I mean if you see a contest prize list or something missing.)

(These dates are all times I'd like to be done by, things will hopefully be done sooner than these dates.)
1.Birthday Adopts- I know, I know, please don't kill me, I wanted to get these special adopts out before the end of May, so that you all had something to play with/concentrate on while I work through the rest of the list. Goal to Complete: May 31st.
2.Christmas Gifts- These seriously need to be finalized. I also need all unclaimed ones claimed. Goal: June 5th.
3.Christmas 13th Day of Christmas Customs- These are super overdue and I need to get them done, I know. Goal to Complete: Unsure. (Depends on people getting back to me).
4.Fairytale Art Customs- The artists who made these pieces worked REALLY hard and deserve their payment. Goal: June 15th.
5.Tack/Custom Orders- There's a handful of these that need getting done. Goal: June 15th.
6.Horses of Ireland Prizes- These are lower because it happened more recently. Goal: June 20th.
7.CWHR Exploration Event Revamp- Seriously. It's gotta happen. Goal: June 30th.
8. Artist Birthday Catchup/Prep- I am behind! TAT. Goal: June 30th.
9.Readopting out old Designs- This is low priority because I'm still discovering unclaimed designs and am not ready to adopt out more. Goal: End of Summer.
10.Mustang Makeover Preparations- This is a note for myself, but I also wanted to see if anyone wants to collab on training later in the summer.
11.Revamping Old Designs- Something I'm wanting to work on here and there after the other stuff (1-8) is done. It'll happen here and there.

Hey guys, me again. Just wanted to poke my head in and drop a little update on my life! I will be working two jobs soon so I can save for college in the 2016 year, I will be finished "upgrading" on June 23rd and hopefully starting an equine holistic healing and massage course in the fall. I'm not sure how I'm going to juggle everything but hopefully it wont be too bad. I am also going to take my horse into some fun local horse shows this summer in an effort to build our currently lack luster relationship in preparation for college as I plan on bringing him with me! In addition to all that I also really miss everyone and I think I am going to try and create a horse for everyone at /least/ once a month. I love and miss everyone and I sincerely hope that everyone is doing alright and I cant wait to come back to Cottonwood, even if I wont be nearly as involved as I have been in the past.

Honestly, the horses aren't going out as fast as I want them to. So please go ahead and suggest as many as you want. But please do not be greedy or I might as well change my mind and I want everyone to get a chance <3 Order your horses from greatest to least when pming me. Also, I pmed Inca's creator. She is up for adoption. It won't be fcfs. It will go to whoever I find most deserving of her. I don't want people to pm me with just her on the list either unless she is all that you want.

Schedule for June 2015
Hello everyone! I as you know CWHR has been very slow and inactive. The end of the school year/finals has been cursed apon most of us, so inactivity is common with everyone right now. I think it is time I put out what will be happening this month. In the that year we have lost at least 4 artists. This is from inactivity, them dropping out because of lost interest, and personal life issues. People move on, and we understand that. I will be opening up GA spots again, and though we will be picky, i think we need a fresh new artist here at CWHR. So, I am planning on opening GA forms for you guys to try out on the 6th, this Saturday. They will be open for 10 days only! More about that will come on the 6th.
CWHR has defiant problems getting customs done from sessions. I know I am a BIG part of that problem(hehehe) but I am deciphering weather we should open up customs again this month or not. I think we need more active artists, and they need to plan on getting the customs done in less than a month. If the artist does NOT plan on getting them done in a less than a month, they should be closed when the customs session is open. I think that in the past I have taken more customs than I can handle, but in order to balance out all the customs with the artists, we need active artists that will take their share of orders. This is mostly why I am opening GA spots.

OK!! You have probably been wondering about the Mustang Makeover! As you know, last year it opened for entries a few days ago last year. I have decided to start it about a month later. I think that last year it was a little too long, and that made it harder for people to catch up with their training. This year it will be a shorter competition by a couple weeks. I am thinking entries will open on the 1st of July!
Just as artists move on, some followers of CWHR have moved on too that used to be active. The mustang makeover is the perfect opportunity for the CWHR to welcome in new people! I would like everyone to pitch in this year welcoming friends from around CS to join the MM! Lets TRY to beat our 108 entries last year, but even more inportand, lets all make the BIGGEST effort to get at least a small entry into our MM horses(this goes to me). We had some amazing entries by the winners last year, but their where many horses who had only been named. I gtg now i have a Biolagy class i need to get ready for. Fill out the two forms below!!
