It's probably the most diverse equine adoptable on CS, alongside it's very friendly staff community! ^^

What do you wish to see more of horse/color/breed wise?

Hmmm, I think that the artists have got it covered colours-wise... Maybe for breeds we could consider:

> Pony Breeds (Konik ponies, Fell ponies, Pony of the Americas, etc.)
> More Asian breeds- go exotic!
> Maybe some more of the rarer breeds, such as Kinsky horses, Suffolk Punches (<--- I love this breed so much that I'll make one soon! )

Now this suggestion is highly controversial: the possible introduction of zebras and Przewalski's horses via adoption only?

Why do you like Cottonwood Ranch?
The staff are all so nice, and the options are endless. You can adopt, compete, order customs or breedings, anything really! There are no limits of how many horses you can have, and it's super diverse. It's really easy to get the horse you want as well.

Would you make any improvements/changes?
Some organization of events and announcements could be made, but it runs rather well without.

What do you wish to see more of horse/color/breed wise?
I'd love to see more warmblood and draft breeds, along with more obscure breeds. Ponies would be pretty cool as well(like large ponies). I'd love to see more obscure colors(cause they make the best breeding combinations) and maybe less paints. We have a lot of paints.

That sounds pretty good, if they were challenging adopts. So they're rarer, but not non-existent. My little Immi(CWHR's only zebra) would like some friends!
I need to find a way to let people use Immi for breeding without spamming up the thread. I don't want him up for public breedings(Cause things could get out of hand, but I'd like people to know about him). Perhaps there could be a sort of showcase breeding thing, where people have to ask permission of the owner. Cause nobody's going to search for Immi.I hope that makes sense...

Why do you like Cottonwood Ranch?

It is a very fun and loving comunnity. Everyone there is very nice, it is also a very good outlet for my creaitivity, when it happens... I like how things are set up and run, it is a lot easier to understand than some other adoptables.

Would you make any improvements/changes?

Umm... well, you know how breedings pour in, maybe it could be changed to a mare can breed once a week or once every 5 days, and a stallion once a day, something to control it, even with there being a 3 breeding cap, once those are done people will order more right away and it is rather hard to keep up with.

What do you wish to see more of horse/color/breed wise?

Well, I have my own idea and I will PM it to you, but I'd like to see more Medicine Hats, Perlinos, Silvers, Purple Roans, etc. the common colors that you don't really see. Like dapples! I love dapples but I'm terrible at them and you rarely see them up for adoption. Fleabittin horses, I haven't seen one for adoption. Duns are uncommon. Mouse Grey, beautiful color, rarely seem them, but I do own one. Grullas I love the color but they are very unvommon. Cremello, gorgeous color, I haven't seen one for adoption in a long time. Silver blacks, haven't seen many, Silver Buckskin, haven't seen many. I would love love love to see some Blood Bays! Now with patterns, I'd like to see more frames, and more solid horses, of course Medicine Hats. Varnish Appies, don't see many. Bald horses are pretty but not many of them. Breed wise, maybe some Warmbloods, Fox Trotters, Tennessee Walkers, Thoroughbreds. A lot of the horses for adoption now seem to be only mixes or only Appies or APHs, get some purebreds in there. Other than that little(long) list of stuff, it's all good.

Why do you like Cottonwood Ranch?
Cottonwood gives all people the chance to own CWHR horses. So people without great writing/drawing abilities, also get the chance to own some wonderful equine adoptables. Although it can be hard for the artists to handle all the custom and breeding orders, everything gets done and CWHR's staff is awesome, creative and very skilled. I like Cottonwood because of it's possibilities, ideas and dedication. <3
Would you make any improvements/changes?
More events to show off already owned horses would be nice. Competitions for dressage, jumping, barrels, reining etc, maybe some halter shows, too. It would be pretty cool to be able to earn titles for the horse, champion, reserve champion etc. It's not neccessary to have like thousands of them, but it would be nice to have that every once in a while. Otherwise Cottonwood is pretty much perfect for me. <3

There were already some suggestion I agree with, but I do think that rare breeds should somehow stay rare. Some horse breeds are sadly near extinction and since Cottonwood tries to strive for reality I don't think that too many should be made. Like Immy already said, it would be awesome to introduce Zebras and Przewalskis, maybe some other half wild or wild horse breeds too (maybe include a few donkeys and wild donkeys, too). But in my opinion there should be no way to order them as customs. Maybe like two to five rare horses in a month as adoptables, so they stay rare. Breeding with them should be limited, striving for purebreds, except for Zebra and Donkey maybe -> Zorse/Mule.
Rare colors should stay RARE too. Most horses ARE bay and chestnut, grey and black beeing pretty common, too. If you look it up, most horse breeds, especially warmbloods bred for competitions only accept those four, maybe some other solid colors as well. It like I suggested with breeds, rare colors shouldn't be made in mass. Chimeric, Somatic and Brindle count to very rare, they should stay rare around here, too.
I'd like to see some variety, more solid colors, interesting face and leg markings, that kind of stuff. :3
