Lovino released another groan, walking along the pathway that would assumedly lead the siblings to their new academy. Feliciano glanced frantically around at their new surroundings- the entire town was, essentially, a getaway, rinkydink town in which immigrants from around the world settled down, so, unsurprisingly, there were various cultural influences surrounding them.
"Look out!" demanded a voice from behind them. Lovino turned around in question before getting promptly run over by a massive German shepard. The dog collided with the elder Italian, sniffing him curiously before apologetically licking all over the stranger's face. Lovino's arms rose in defense, shoving the colossal creature off of him and sitting up. What the %*#$?!
Feliciano turned around, noticing two men approaching quickly with two other dogs- a golden retriever and a Rottweiler- both on leashes (er, the dogs, not the men...). One of them, a blonde man with his hair slicked back, approached the two men, holding out a hand to assist Lovino, who swatted said hand away and stood up himself. The other, appearing almost albino with his silvery-white hair and feral crimson eyes, hooked the German shepard back into his leash and scratched it behind the ears a bit.
"We're sorry about Blackie," said the blonde one, voice deep and resonating, much akin to that of a military general. "Somebody let go of the leash."
"Hey, watch it West!" the albino replied with a smirk. "Or I'll sick one of 'em on you next!" He stole a glance at Lovino's slobber-drenched face and chuckled. "Blackie got ya good! Kesesesese!"
The blonde one then took the initiative to smack his brother across the back of the head before Lovino got the chance to punch the guy. "That's enough, bruder."
"Ve~? You two are brothers?" Feliciano finally found the opportunity to speak, gazing up at Ludwig in curiosity. "Lovino's MY older brother! And I'm Feliciano!" Lovino rolled his eyes stupid, socially-active Feli...
The albino hooked an arm around his sibling's shoulders, much to the latter's displeasure. "%&!$ yeah! Ludwig here's my little bro, and I'm the most friggin' awesome guy to ever walk the-"
"Gilbert," Ludwig corrected, pinching the bridge of his nose. "Sorry to bother you two. Gilbert and I were just walking our dogs before heading to class."
"Ne, Lu~dwig? Do you and your fratello go to Hetalia Academy too? It's our first day there today! We just moved in with Grandpa Roma!" At this, Lovino clamped a silencing hand across his brother's mouth. The idiot, sharing their personal information with these two freaks...?!
"Old Roma?" Gilbert interrupted, holding Blackie back once more. "Heh heh, Luddy! We have new prey!"
Prey...? Lovino gulped, scowling. Although hard and cold on the exterior... Inside, he was but a mere coward.
Ludwig rolled his eyes. "He means we're neighbors. But we need to get going now, the dogs are getting restless... It was, er.., nice meeting you two."
"Ve, really? Thats great! It'll be amazing to have neighbors like you two!" Feliciano proceeded to hug Ludwig, the blonde blushing a deep crimson. He moved on to do the same to Gilbert, though the albino instead settled for a fist-bump.
"See ya," Gilbert said with a feral wink, walking beside his brother back in the direction ofthrir house. Lovino sighed with relief. Mio dio, those two were idiots...
"Hey, Lovi! Look, fratello! It's our school!"
Lovino gazed forward once again, noticing that his brother had been correct, for once. Before them stood a majestic building, adorned with a many welcoming decorations and strewn with banners. As it was, Lovino was pleasantly surprised...
At least, until a random tomato caught him in the shoulder.
... This school was gonna suck.
And next time, there should be more character introductions!
