@Olivia: I'm crying. But I'm also smiling cuz the writing's really good.
Part 3 of Catalia Story:
Austria-Cat vibrated along with the thunderclap, the next instant the roof was pounding with rainfall. He pressed his ears to his head. “We’ll have to stay here longer than I expected in these conditions…” America-Cat scratched the floor in a nervous fashion. “The hero’s scared of a thunderstorm, hm?” Austria-Cat said in a dark tone. America-Cat meowed “No, I’m sharpening my claws. Something’s coming for sure!” Surprisingly enough, the tabby did seem to be excited about something. Austria-Cat could make out the prickling outline of Germany-Cat beside him. He looked at one of the many windows lining the building to see nothing but pouring rain against the glass, an occasional lightning rod visible through the curtain of water. Germany-Cat seemed uncomfortable from standing still, as if something big was approaching after all…Austria-Cat shook off the menacing thoughts and shuffled onwards with the dark cat and the tabby. He looked at them both, such idiots…Sealand-Cat had interrupted his nap standing at his doorstep with some other cats. He has said they ‘were going to England-Cats to sit out the storm’. His house was fine for a storm! But the little brat wouldn’t stop bugging him, threatening to invite Hungary-Cat over...He sighed, now stuck with two annoyances, and looking for more. He pricked his ears; through the pounding rain he could hear someone’s voice farther down one aisle. “Germany-Cat, go over there.” He nudged the gray cats shoulder in the direction of the voice. Germany-Cat stared at him. “…Why?” “I hear someone over there…” “Stop trying to freak me out!” “No, it’s a cat’s voice! Right over there!” Germany-Cat sighed “Just shut up will you? I don’t need to listen to you talk about some freaky voices in your head.” Austria-Cat blinked. Could Germany-Cat not hear it? He looked at America-Cat. He didn’t seem to hear the voice either. Though he’s not paying attention to the conversation… The brown cat limped away from his support. I’m going to go follow that voice if you don’t mind.” Germany-Cat grunted and kept on walking along with the daydreaming tabby. Austria-Cat rolled his eyes and shuffled slowly towards the small voice. Getting farther and farther away from Germany-Cat and America-Cat…
