Name is based off looks normally, and personality is based off name and looks.

I typically pick from angels' names in relation to looks (Luze) - but I tend to lose those. xD The ones I win are usually things made up (Teratire), or references to one of my fandoms that fit the personality that I see (House, Clarence, Meg, Luze). My first three mares are the odd ones, mainly because there was at least a year between when I got Daredancer and when I won House. xD

I don't really have a "rule" for naming equids, but normally something comes to my mind directly when I see that WME. :3
If that's not the case I name them after I thought of a personality.

That depends... Sometimes I look for a name that starts with a certain letter, maybe one with a specific meaning or where its from. But the exact name I choose is the one I feel best goes with the WME.

All the names I choose are picked based on the personality I see that equid having. Many of the names I use are ones I really like and have been holding for certain personality 'types' as well. Other times, I'll do a quick search for a certain meaning and pick a name I like and that I feel fits.

As a note, I do still have a couple slots open in my artshop for equids. Any and all orders will be done by this Sunday. :)

Everything! Either it clicks... or it's based on the personality, or it's based on the looks! I love names in different languages, so I often come up with an adjective or noun then translate it so it sounds cooler. I usually have second doubts later, but I do that with everything I do so no problem!
