Okay tumblr is a bit blown up on my dash about the whole 4chan thing care to explain a bit more o.e fellow Homestucks help me understand.

they took people's faces on the selfie tag and photoshopped them onto extremely traumatizing, nsfw pictures, then spammed the major tags. you know, like #homestuck, #attack on titan, #feminism, #peace, #lgbt, and the like. they've also been hacking accounts; put your guards up by changing your password!
i've looked into the depths of this, and it looks like the roots have been weeded from the system. the wave is subsiding at a rapid pace, and people are filling the tags with kittens and bunnies to keep tumblr happy. ^v^

Also, they're probably not going to stop for a while.
