Question if i breed the bravary for an egg and then return to my shinx hatching will i lose the progress with it that i have made? like will the chain be busted or something.

Playing with a new type of team banner. Not 100% sure if I'll make these purchaseable, not terribly happy with the results.

That team banner looks kinda cool, but I gotta say, it's a bit difficult to know what the silhouettes are. The first one seems to be Tyrantrum, third is Sylveon, and the last one is...Mega Aerodactyl? The rest...I got no clue. Perhaps if you could do something similar with full-body silhouettes instead of just the head, it might work better?

In other: Tyrantrum, Vaporeon, Sylveon, Mega Absol, Aurorus, Mega Aerodactyl. The colors are colorpicked from the little type icons (double colored means a dual typed Pokemon.)

Suggestions are welcome! I love critique on potential products in the works. I was thinking of flipping the gradient so the Pokemon silhouette is black and the background is the gradient. I'm trying to figure out how to make easier and therefore cheaper team banners, as well as making them smaller so they can fit in sigs easier.

Oh dang, I never would have guessed M-Absol or Aurorus just from the silhouettes. On the one hand, I like the idea of flipping the gradient so the silhouettes are easier to see, but on the other hand...just from those examples, it looks like it would be very difficult to see the gradient on Aurorus and M-Absol (if it had a gradient) due to how little background is shown. It just seems that the head-shot silhouettes don't work so well with M-Absol kinda looking like one big feather and Aurorus looking like jiggling Jell-O...heh. Perhaps if you could add a little outline of notable portions, like separating heads from other appendages so everything doesn't all blur together into one (sometimes unrecognizable) shape?

breeding for shinies is not the same thing as chaining for shinies, so no, you will not have any negative effects.

I dont know how other people do it, but i just cant, i cant spend hours hatching eggs for a shiny, i tryed with venipede's i reached 6 boxes before i could no longer contuie and now with the shinx ive hit 4 boxes with three in the 5th and i just cant see myself doing this anymore, what really makes me upset about this is most of the pokemon i want shinys of i dont have FS with them in them so the only way i can stand a hope of geting a shiny from them is by useing my other games or by shiny hatching and i just cant do it so what iam trying to say is if anyone here knows there safairy pokemon and theres a shinx or whirlpede in them can we please swap FC's? so i can go with the level grinding in the area and finding a shiny that way, as its the way i can attaly stick with.

breeding for shinies is not the same thing as chaining for shinies, so no, you will not have any negative effects.

so if i took a very very long brake from breeding shinys, and then returned to it, i would not suffer?

i spent my whole pokemon life wishing for a shiny, and never geting one, and then when i took my brake from my shiny ponytar hunt(to be fair though it was after 10 minets) and though i would investergate a tower on that rount i ran into a gastly, a gastly with blue flames, when i saw it show up i was like why are the flames bl-OMG SHINY i was terrified i would lose her, as my team was level 30, and she was below level 10. i tossed a pokeball, i cant remeber what kind but when it clicked i scream, i really screamed, and made everyone on the train i was on jump, and look at me like i was crazy, but i was happy, so dont worry i know how long it can take to get a shiny i know, it took me about 5 years to get spirit.

Nope. It's not a chain, it's like...rolling two dice in the hopes of getting a total of 12. If you roll ten times without getting a twelve, then stop rolling for a few hours, then get back to it, you still have the same chance of rolling a 12. It's just a matter of persistence. With Shinies being anywhere from a 1/1,000-ish chance (.098%) to a 1/8,000-ish chance (.0122%), it just takes a long time and a lot of persistence.
