Hey, guys, remember that little story I wrote about the hatchling? :C

Well, She got snatched up straight away and got exalted... DDD:
I've started to write a little diary by her, I'll only post the first entry. (I'll be doing one each day.)

Day 1~The Arrival

Dear Mummy, I just arrived today...I got sent to work for this Tidelord...Mummy...Come back.. I don't like it here...

All the water dragons are dead proud and all cocky but I'm the only shadow dragon..Well, Mummy, there's this one guardian hatchling from the Shadow flight but I never get to see him...Or her.. I'm not sure.
I just caught a glimpse of it's dark purple eye as we were herded along by these nasty dragons which were completely blue, but they each had scars. The meanest is called Hisk, and he has a scar across his eye. When I started to call for you he hissed at me and whacked me with his tail. It was sharp.

I think Hisk is a Ridgeback like Astaroth back at home.. Mummy... I miss him, and Daddy, and you and everybody else..Come back..

Oh no, one of those mean dragons, this one was a Sky Dancer, just spotted me writing... He's coming towards me...

Also, they started to call me Prosperous.. I don't like it... Mummy... Where are you?

This is their first nest and such a good number of eggs too so, I'm going to raffle first pick here!

All these exalt stories have made me write my own, about a little Carribean/coal mirror boy from my first clutch.

I watched as my mommy, Avera the clan leader deal with another dragon from a different clan. The conversation between the two was hard to hear, but I saw silver streaks across her face as she whispered something and took the small clump of treasure the dragon had offered her. This odd dragon waited patiently as mum put her newly acquired riches in the clan hoard. As she walked back over after a minute, I took the chance to tap her foot with my soft claw. As the jade dragon looked down, expression now hardened but loving, the mother mirror simply asked me: "What is it?." I studied my mothers face before replying. She seemed upset about something, which was rare for her. "What was the money for mummy?" I asked politely. At that very question her face went blank, but she still answered. '"You are going to work for the Earthshaker." She replied, and once more I saw an iron tear slide down her face. I was aghast. "The Earthshaker? N-not the S-Shadowbinder?" I asked, now fearfully. Were my worst dreams come true? I was three days old, but like any other hatchling I was born intelligent and quickly learned what exalting was. Would I be exalted? My mother seemed to notice my panick and reached down and cooed softly in my ear before picking me up and handing me into the claws of the strange dragon. "You are being exalted my child, like many of us plentiful breeds. I am so very sorry, but you will show the Earthshaker that Shadow dragons are proud and hard working". My mother sought to bring me confidence, but all she brought was tears as I cried into the night and the Earth dragon who had bought me flew away silently. Finally, deep within the night when the hatchling had cried no more, a different kind of sobbing arose, tinged with a snarl and a few nasty words. It was Avera, wishing she had not given her only child up.
