Hi there! :3 I was wondering if someone could tell me ABOUT what 50K in treasure would get me in gems. I know there's a conversion thingie... But it confuses me ;•;

Well the highest people usually sell gems for at this point is, 1:150. One gem per 150 T, so you take 50,000 and divide that by 150 to get 333.33, so about 333 gems at that rate. You could possibly get it for a little cheaper, like 1:40, but with all the demand for gems and so many people buying it, more than likely you won't find anyone selling it for less. If you plan on getting gems, I would suggest getting them soon-ish. With google checkout closing on the 20th[?], I think? Gem prices are going to go up even more.

@felidae89 LOL, yeah. Depressing but true. I also spend a lot of time on there, but sometimes it's just for socializing on the forums and admiring other peoples dragons, or planning ahead for what I'm going to do next when I get money, etc.

It depends on the conversion rate people use. Let's say someone's rate is a 1/100 gem to treasure rate. That would mean that 1 gem would cost 100 treasure. If demand for gems is high, then the rate will be higher. So instead of 1/100 it might be 1/120. You would just divide the amount of treasure you have by the cost of each gem. (according to the rate someone's selling the gems at) That would be the amount of gems you'd be able to get.

Ex: 50,000t divided by 120 = 416 gems

You could always enter raffles - fire flight usually has lots of free raffles/giveaways in our fire forums, you could probably check them out. And of course there's breeding. Uhh, get treasure through the fairgrounds and reserve a hatchling from someone's hatchery thread. And then the AH has plenty of dragons you could buy. For example there are some pearlcatchers in there right now that are, the cheapest, for 30k or so.
