okay back to my arguement/opinion
I don't think the age thing is a problem.

-Eren is too young-
First of all, he acts brashly, like a child. Sure, you could say that, but it seems like that's more of a personality trait. think about everything he's been through and the way he acts in the manga chapters after the Female Titan arc and tell me he's not mature. He saw his mom die, he trained like crazy and endured it even though a few others died, he fought in a war, he shoulders the burden of all of humanity as well as his life being in danger, he's fought in a war, he's seen his friends die, he has no idea where his dad is or if something happened to him.

-It's paedophilia-
Since people seem to take the SnK world and take our laws and regulations and apply them, let's alter them so that they make more sense for the SnK world instead. The age of consent in our world(or at least America, is coincidentally, the age you join the military. Eighteen years old. In the walls, let's say it's the age you graduate training- that's like, fifteen, right? Eren's definitely graduated training. Also, why is that whole jal-bait/paedophilia law in place? to protect minors from being manipulated by older people. Sure, Eren seems like he could be manipulated, but would Levi really do that to him? Think about it. No. That's Erwin. Also, it's an assurance that the younger is mature- by eighteen, most people are mature, and as discussed earlier, Eren is definitely mature.

-the age gap won't work-
There are plenty of people who marry at ten, twenty, thirty years apart and are perfectly happy and stay together "til death do them part." This shouldn't be a problem.

-they're both guys-
Considering all the other ships we have, i don't think that you guys need me to argue for human rights here.

-Levi is a father figure-
Okay, you can interpret relationships however you want, and I can see why people would think this. I do. But Hannes seemed to take Eren's place as a father figure way before Levi came into the picture. If Eren sees Levi like that at all, it's probably more of a subconcious thing, because he's looking for traits and affections towards him that his father never provided for him, but again, seeing as how Hannes was basically his father after the whole incident, I don't see why he would see LEvi like that.

and I just wanted to say, yes, basically this! I don't really get why there's so much fuss about a fictional couple that it's not even supposed to be in a world like our own. Seriously, they apply for military at 12 and even younger since some of the characters are younger than Eren <.< I'm pretty sure, age isn't something they care about~ You might not like the couple, that's fine, but with these being your reasons for not liking it...well, I don't know what to say :c
Although, I'll have to agree with Levi on the maturity thing. Eren might not be that mature but who cares, Levi is old enough to guide him ;3

I dunno, I still feel like... egh. Levi and Eren don't click as a romantic couple for me. Romantic Ereri is silly to me xD

His voice needs to be more tiny.

I actually like his voice for the dub, and I'm probably the only one here to say that. >_> His voice doesn't sound that deep, nor high pitched. It sounds like its in the middle and it sounds just fine.
But that could be me not hearing the Japanese voice first, so I'm more used to the english dub. And he's voiced by Josh Grelle, so how could I not like the fact he was voicing Armin!

The only voice in the dub I don't exactly like is Eren's. His voice actor has voiced so many characters in animes I've watched (and I've only seen like 6 animes) and.. idk. His voice could have been a little better for Eren. Yet I could see why he chose him. Otherwise, all the other character's voices were spot on.

I already stated it before...but I really don't like the dub. I see people who say they prefer the dub over the sub but you know what? It's absolutely awful, not because the voice actors are bad, I like them and they did a decent job but the way they phrase the things takes away the whole personality of the character. Eren is like a brat who doesn't care about anything when in fact he does. In the boat scene he felt grief and sadness and you can see none of it in the dub. I prefer the sub over the dub any time.

As for Armin's voice actor, that's a scene that we hoped would be as good as the original and he killed it <.< Same for Eren's...have you seen the first episode? Like what the heck? They even dubbed his roar. It's bad >.<

@Air Yes Air, I know and it's completely fine xD I was just saying that if you try to compare our laws with a fictional world where giant naked "men" devour humans and mankind is nearly extinct then you are just being childish.

And I'm perfectly fine with how other people view it, especially if it just doesn't click like for you- but when those reasons are the only ones they can come up with and they attack/defend everything Ereri with them, it irritates me. a lot.

I feel like there are more Ereri haters than shippers, and that's saying something. xD

Like there are a ton of ships, but I feel like Ereri is attacked the most? I dunno it just bothers me. x3 Whatever~

I think its the one being shipped most, not hated most to be honest. Hey, it might be because I dont ship it so I see more people liking it, i dunno.

I can see how you feel. When watching Animes, I've always had this problem with the original voice actors sounding too old, or not the right picture with that. The first Anime I watched was Soul Eater, and no offense to the actors, but I can't stand the original version. I find the English version to be much better.
But in Attack on Titan, I decided to try watching it in the original version subbed, because so many others said it was a lot better that way. I really love the original voices, and I think they match. I have not, however, seen the dubbed version, and so far, the only problem I have is Armin, xD. I've always pictured him this little boy with a high-pitched voice.


On the subject of ships, my personal OTP is Rivetra, Levi X Petra. I am not a fan of Levi X Eren, but I don't really want to go hating on it. Sure, I may not think it works, but other people do, and that's all that matters.
