FIRST OF ALL LET'S CELEBRATE THE FACT THAT MY FAOURITE HORSEFACE IS STILL ALIVE AND ARMIN DID INDEED SAVE HIM

You have no idea how much the whole thing sent me squealing and smiling like an idiot.
Levi conforting Armin and Jean!! Holy cow I love, love, love that! I love that he took the time to tell them that they aren't bad people, that there was no better choice, etc etc.
It's such a great scene! And Armin feeling such immense guilt... let me hug the poor bby ;_; </3
I think this was one of the best chapters in a while; we got a TON of character development, and I am so happy to see that the whole squad is growing steadily closer.
I'm also pretty happy that Levi still trusts Jean with a job even though he showed trouble handling the previous situation.

And don't get me started on how happy I am to see Marlow and Hitch again. I really liked the two, and d'aww... I feel so sorry for them being left in the dark about what really happened at Stohess for so long. It must be an incredible shock for Hitch to find out her roommate is the Female Titan and imprisoned somewhere. And... agh they must feel so confused now, especially Marlow. Boy has such a good heart. And I love how everyone keeps comparing him to Eren. I wonder if those two will ever meet and realize that they've been likened to one another, haha.

Also, NILE DOK yay. I like that guy for some reason. Glad to see him, and glad to see that he's quite uneasy with the Central MP xP

So... yeah. It's a very good chapter IMO. I love the character interactions and all the development, and now excuse me while I gush some more over the part where Levi talks to Armin and Jean.

IKR? He's so stressed out and broken right now, he cannot even believe he did that, and he keeps pouring guilt all over himself ;_; I found it so freaking important that Levi reminded him that Jean would have died if Armin hadn't acted. Armin is still so insecure on many occasions, so hearing his superior tell him that he did the right thing is really good. To hear it not only from Jean himself (who, of course, is glad to be alive xP), but also from others - especially since it is not a secret that Levi hates having to kill people. Armin is a precious darling and oh god he gets so much character development I just wanna squee forever <33

What I find remarkable, though, is how he keeps clinging to his own humanity. He is the one who keeps saying that you have to sacrifice it in order to fight monsters, yet it is clear that he hasn't reached that point. He still doesn't want to be another monster. He still feels guilt and his mind still fights the fact that he has to kill in order to survive.
This struggle is so interesting and believable.
Bless Armin. Armin is great.

I'm so conflicted about this, y'know? On one hand I would LOVE to see Armin slowly losing his sanity/humanity and become this super ruthless tactical genius who plays humans like chess pieces.
On the other hand I want to protect him .-. He doesn't deserve to be corrupted, but I would like to see it happen for the sake of the story.

Hehe, Levi and his squad of kids :'D Nobody can tell me he isn't growing fond of them. They all have a lot of potential <33

I definitely like Marlow. He just wants the world to be a better place, poor boy. And then he has to realize that said world is corrupt to the core. It'll be difficult for him to accept that he might have to destroy and rebuild said world first.
And poor, poor hitch. She really wasn't prepared for all of this. She just wanted a carefree life in the inner walls, and now she has to face the fact that terrible things are happening all around her. I think the thing about Annie was a first step to shaking her awake.

marlo is def. one of the most sincerest characters cause like 2 people thought he was like eren, and that alone shows some of the potential he has and some of the feelings he harbors about what everyone is doing, like i really want to see him more cause if they keep him, im almost sure he'll be helpful too
as for hitch i know so many people that dont like and i can see why but omg i love her so much. mainly cause of how she acts (and cause shes a cute-patoot) but yeah, she does need to get her act together somehow?? cause im sure whats happening is going to knock some sense into her, or at least possibly marlo will, cause hes close to her and such (lmao, they need to kiss)
