I guess I've just never come across a character like that, because usually less experienced writers will try to make a snarky, mean character and they end up completely nice and normal within minutes of meeting someone. And then I'm sitting here trying to think of all the nasty characters I have, but all of them have an excuse for being mean. Except Maria maybe, but he's supposed to be a demon-siren half-breed, so he's absolutely evil for no reason, other than he's just inherently that way. Which I guess technically could be defined as a personality disorder, sociopathy, or psychopathy.

Arty, I write almost all of my role play posts exclusively in a notebook and then type them up later. It's a combination of not having any time to sit at my laptop and write, and also coming up with ideas while I'm out and having to jot them down right away.
I do not have writer's block
My writer just hates the clock

Ok cool. I just wanted to make sure.

@Artesian: is it a distraction thing? I mainly write posts up on word as opposed to in the provided post editor of whatever site I'm on, though I don't know exactly why. And then the other quarter of the time I write in the editor, when I'm particularly focused. But I've never had to actually go offline, the internet is always whirling in the background xD

Although, I find it easier to write non-rp things on paper with pen or pencil. It just comes out better. Some kind of mind trick I pull on myself, I suppose, though it'll eventually be a pain in the neck when I finish my novel and have to copy that word by word over to the computer.

I think we'll have eight spaces. Just post on here saying which character you'd like. You may choose your own character but there are a few default sort of characters that I want to have:

the prepper; male; taken by me
    - son of an apocalypse prepper.
    - knows how to survive.
    - lots of experience with weapons.
    - a bit secluded and likes to do his own thing.
    - not extremely loyal or trustworthy, but a good guy.

the expert marksman; female; taken by herondale.
    - never misses a target.
    - huge knowledge and experience with most weapons.
    - very hard worker.
    - finds it hard to trust people.
    - not the bravest person.

    the pro golfer; male; open
    - upcoming professional golfer.
    - very strong swing.
    - uses golf clubs reinforced with blades.
    - very underestimated.
    - loyal and reliable, but not as physically strong as the others.

ex military; female; taken by king bear.
    - lots of survival skills from the army.
    - toughened up to any environment.
    - good with guns and very physically strong. good hand-to-hand fighter.
    - sometimes a bit too cocky.
    - likes things her own way.

the mortician; male; taken by nosebleed
    - not very good with guns, so uses a flamethrower.
    - very professional man, and has little sympathy for the dead.
    - more sensible and grounded than other members. he has a lot of common sense.
    - poor survival skills, relies more on luck.
    - not as physically strong as the others.

    -----; female; open

the gardener; male; taken by Wolfsabre
    - precise with slashing tools.
    - good at survival in the wilderness, knows all the tasty and poisonous plants.
    - uses hedge clippers with attached chainsaws.
    - has a tendency to want to cut up anything that gets in his way.
    - gets distracted by plants at the most inconvenient times.

    -----; female; open

    there we go :3
It will be a high semi-literate to high literate roleplay, but one long paragraph [ 12+ lines ] or more is around the average [ two good sized paragraphs each time would be ideal ]. writers block should be around 8-10+ lines in size 85 text. if we get to a really exciting moment [ fighting a huge hoard of zombies xp ] then I'll allow less writing as long as it's still good quality. good grammar is a must.
I guess it will be fairly relaxed, as long as you have good grammar and do post at least the average most times.
And it will be on AS c:

@Night Yiss. I don't think we'll need really developed forms, since we're gon develop our characters through the RPing itself. I'm just gonna post the basics, a picture, and some bullet points. uvu

@Arty omg haha. Adoracreepy.
Oh, don’t worry, you’re not alone. I always write up my posts in a text document [offline] first, give them a quick look-over, AND THEN copy paste them online, preview the post, and edit online. I just find it much easier to write offline, for some reason, and don’t really see it as a kind of block [unless you don’t have access to a text document –like when you’re on the phone– which I’m sure is annoying. unu] Maybe it’s the writer within us, more used to notebooks and writing offline! uvu

@Scene Yeah, I’ve come across characters like that too. The writer makes them all “cool” and “rebellious” in the forms, but upon actual interaction w/ other characters, their character's personality does a completely 180. It happens with other traits, too. I guess it’s just something that you have to keep doing to get good at - working on keeping the character themselves when put into practice. I think I’ve just had really bad luck, though, to come across some really one-dimensional characters who try to be witty but just end up being really unbearable.

I could try that! It's time to go picture hunting! [Ohman I remember when I used to refuse to use pictures and just described every single inch of my character. Good days.] If I end up finding nothing I might still end up drawing him, though. I hope that's ok!

      Username: ash.
Favorite type of RP: Human realistic or Warrior role-plays
Roleplay sample: anything from here and there are probably other good ones I do on a normal day with good time so search through my posts I guess.
Any semi-lit/lit RPs you have: I don't have any new ones but I am planning on making some soon c:
Other: I've followed this thread and the last ones for a long time but never ended up joining any of them because I was busy in life and didn't believe I could keep up with it but now I can :D I've read almost every post on every thread, love the role-plays you guys set up and love the people on here so I'd love it if you'd accept me to be apart of your club c: Tell me if I missed anything!
