Anything in characters that normally bothers you/off puts you? Like style sense etc?
Yay character development! XD
Spazzing is so gorgeous

Do I need to put anything besides just the synopsis I put to introduce the idea in general?

Nah, not really, I’m fine with all kinds of characters! [The whole “always cocky and sarcastic, and is never surprised or scared” stereotype kinda irks me but I can put up with that too, as long as the character is three dimensional and gets development. So, yeah, I’m pretty much good with anything! /thumbs up]
Yeah, spazzing like the gorg people we are. ~uwu~
And feel free to put just the synopsis, if you want~ Unless you wanna spruce the thread up, which is fine too!

Now that type of character just bothers me. Ugh.
Like, I have a mean character who's only mean for like... The first five minutes, then on certain topics. He likes knives and being violent etc and he's my favorite but is highly afraid of spiders, has a knack for weird things, screams like a female on many occasions, is immature, imperfect, really insecure, likes knives, is pretty damn good at tactical things etc. xD he's amusing and way more fun when I role play him out cx

what do you guys do when someone takes your faceclaim? i've looked for ages and never been able to find any others that suit the character, and someone else (accidentally) stole it in a roleplay. i'm not exactly sure what to do about it, because i'm slightly upset and i know they really like that fc for their character.

cries I have a soft spot for boys with really girly screams lmao. And weird things. I have a bunch of weird characters too [like my taxidermist, he's a real hoot].

That said, I have my fair share of evil characters [though all of them are evil/mean in different ways... some are obliviously mean, some are mean in a way where they constantly poke fun at others, and some are just downright cruel and such], and I do sometimes make them snarky, when the occasion calls for it but... idk, I find it kind of weird when a grown ass character constantly has the need to insult everybody and always be sarcastic, without any reason whatsoever.  ( ?´_ゝ`) Dooon't get me started on characters who are nothing BUT sarcastic and mean tho. Those just drive me up the wall because there is no personality or development to them other than "I can reply with a really sarcastic and mean comment to everything you say".

Oops, long post, haha;; I kind of went off there.

-plops into conversation-
But what about when they have a legitimate reason for being so sarcastic and mean? Like a personality disorder?

that. I can understand that.
my rant is pretty much centered around
them having nothing wrong and just
being rude and mean.
that's what irks me.

@Scene That's why I specifically said "without any reason"! uvu If the character actually has a legitimate reason to be so snarky and such, I won't consider them a bad character as long as that's not the only thing they are. But when the character is just a paper cutout that is being passed off as somebody well-developed, it really irks me. Sarcastic/mean characters aren't really bad in themselves, it's just that those traits are often so misused and written in a really obnoxious way that makes the character... well, unlikable. Not in the way that there are anti-heroes or villains [many people like villain and anti-hero characters, but don't identify or agree w/ them, thus making them... like-ably unlikable, lmao], but in a way that makes one completely and utterly unable to stand the character they're reading about.

hhh, I hope that makes sense.

And yeah, characters who are mean and sarcastic without any reason other than the fact that the writer wanted to make them cool are... well. unu

Welcome Tornado! :3

You guys are creepy and yet so adorable. [/random observation]

I've been having a weird sort of block lately. I can't write roleplay posts while I'm online. I have to copy them into a text document, close firefox, and write them offline, then paste them online later. What the heck brain?

Do any of you do that? Write offline, I mean?

INSANELY BUSY!
I am moving! For the next month or so, I am going to be so very busy.
If I'm on here, it's because I'm unwinding with writing or pets or whatever.
Please do not add to my stress, if you can. Your support is appreciated.
