Do you guys find that people just ignore your role plays rules all the time?

Needs to rant

The length requirement, definitely.
I don't like being a stickler, but I put it there for a REASON - I want to find people that write *generally* the same amount.

Also when I specifically put in a reminder for people to tweak their character profiles to fit the roleplay, like the age, current location, etc. If your character was previously attending medical school but for this roleplay she hasn't done that yet and is on vacation, it's not hard to just change a couple little things to reflect that - it's frustrating to read a form that has NOTHING to do with the roleplay. Yes it may be general info and not need to be changed, but sometimes they are very clearly geared for a particular roleplay. And it ain't mine.
I don't go crazy about this, but I do find myself reading every detail and having to PM them if there's something that OBVIOUSLY needs to change, like their age or romantic status.

Favorite type of RP: I would say anything Original. I tend to stick with Roleplays that are realistic but only in the sense that the characters are realistic. I do enjoy Roleplaying supernatural things such as vampires, werewolves, shapeshifters, etc. Last but not least, I certainly do enjoy a little bit lot of romance as long as it is, again, realistic.

Haven't posted here in ages, but I'm wondering if anyone has a semi-lit medieval roleplay, preferably a castle setting that isn't focused only on romance (totally fine with some, or even lots, as long as it isn't the only thing going on) and isn't particularly fast moving (I could only post once a day, and not always every day). I've not had too much time for roleplays lately, but I am really craving something like that if anyone has one.

Or if there's a few interested people, we could do a 1x1 or invite only... I just really want to roleplay medieval right now. So much muse, but nowhere to put it.

Yeah and then feel like such a bee with an itch for pming people and saying. "Did you read the rules?"
Like I have one rule that says do not post until I have accepted your reservation. And 98% of the people have just posted their character in anyway. I even have the rule in red and posted on two of my posts.

I'm all for romance but I agree - it simply canNOT be the main focus.

I also can't promise fast-paced roleplaying. I have an exam tomorrow, then moving that afternoon, out of town Friday and Saturday, exam Monday, exam Thursday, graduation and babysitting Friday, nannying the next two weeks after that.
BUT, things should settle down somewhat after graduation next Friday.

Anyone up for this dope-ass plot?

Everyone knows about the gods, Greek, Roman, Norse, Hindu, and many more. These gods have served as a foundation for people all over the world, and without them surely a lot of people would be lost. But our story takes place in a different world, another dimension created for one purpose - to fight until the death. Each Pantheon of gods are always vying to be the best, and in a world that is slowly forgetting them it's important to be the best. So every thousand years the gods divide amongst themselves the human race, looking for humans worthy enough to fight for their honor. These people are then given goldly powers and deemed "Demigods" as they now have the blood of a god running through their system. With this power given they are brought into the other dimension to fight until the death against the other Pantheons and their champions. The victor and there Pantheon are glorified by the other gods and that one victor claims a spot as a god of that certain Pantheon.

Now it's your turn, you and many other people have been chosen to fight for the honor of the gods who have gifted your powers upon you. You don't have a choice (as who would be foolish enough to fight against a god's wishes?) With that you're cast into the other dimension, each beginning in a camp with the others of your Pantheon, these are now your brothers and sisters and you are to fight to the death to protect them. But what will happen this round? Lives will be lost, some changed forever, and maybe even someone daring (or stupid) enough to defy a god. Whatever it is that's going to happen you're going to have to stick around to find out!
