Wow, interesting topic.
I don't remember any scene where Naruto was implied close to being Hokage.
I just can't believe how far and serious the show has gotten, it's shocking me big time xD I recently read the chapter that included most of the Konoha 9 where Sakura says something like "this time we're all going into battle together blahblahblah" and
WHY IS CHOJI SLIM-CHOJI?????
I freaked. Choji CANNOT be skinny. If this is true I will flip a table.

Theres only one place I like Sasuke, and thats in a certain abriged series XD

Oh I drew a picture of Kisame the other day 8D
I used a tutorial on dA but didnt copy directly, its so fun to draw him now that I know Im able to make him look his age and not like some teenager off the street XD
