Accepted, but you did seem to have a double side on the third section. :D

Again it brings of the individuality of each dog. We have three pit bulls, they share food bowls, they are all in the same place 24/7, more when we're not home though. My family has had two incidents with pit bulls, and that's practically the only breed we keep. I've never had a dog that wasn't a pitty. Also, we used to leave one of our pit bulls with one old rat. I would leave them in the living room while I did stuff in other rooms or even outside, and Jake loved that rat like it was his baby. She would crawl on his head and chase him, and we never had any incidents.

And actually in some dogs, spaying and neutering can cause some extra aggression in the dog. One of my old friends had a pit bull and they had to give him away because he started getting a bad attitude after he was neutered, but he never caused an actual incident, they were just kind of afraid since they had some younger children.

I checked out the website called pitbulllovers.com to help me out with some stuff. I could die happy if and when I could afford a pit or adpot one from a shelter. That's actually on my bucket list- adopting a pit from a rescue shelter. But not just any shelter. From Tia's shelter. But like I said my folks are so blindsided by the loving breed they won't let me have one. D: How do you get a non pit lover to have a better respect and understanding of the breed? Can it be done?

Down home... country..."

Down to my hood, back in them woods,
We do it different 'round here that's right,
But we sure do it good, and we do it all night.
See, if you really wanna know how it feels,
To get off the road with trucks and four wheels,
Jump on in, and tell your friends,
We'll raise some hell where the blacktop ends."

Yes, it can be done. You just have to take them to see some pit bulls. One of my friends had been bitten when he was really little and I made him start spending some time with my pitties when he walked home from school with me, and he's okay with them now. He doesn't love them, but he sees through a lot of the bad rap now.

But they're too stubborn to change their ways. I'm just glad I found people who love, respect and appreciate the breed as much as I do.

Eh, that's true. Of only people'll stop for like two seconds and read some REAL facts they'll have a better understanding... of anything really.

That's true, but a lot of people don't think about that.

i'm sure they're not too stubborn. My friend was actually attacked by a pitbull once, and now he owns one! it wouldnt hurt to try to convince them.
