What do you look for when trying out for a Kia? Do you prefer pups or adults, certain color schemes, certain horn types, patterns, etc...?
i like adults idk but i want to at least have one pup. muted colors are my fav, like natural designs, but i wouldnt might a light pastelly one, as long as its not very vibrant. no certain horns or feathers lol

Adults. The kid lines are lovely, but I don't want a kid. I like the grown-ups ;P
I like the ram horns, though I have an obsession with 328 which does not have them. I like brighter colors, unnatural designs. Those bright, show-offy kinds that still look nice. They make for great oddballs!

I'm fine with any type of horn, although I seem to forget to draw them often. :'D

I like feathers with interesting and bright designs. My favorite feathers belong to Snapple and Pixel, so seeing one of those on an adoptable Kiamara would definately catch my eye.

I don't like overly-complicated designs. I like a challenge, but I also don't want something that I'm going to completely destroy while attempting to draw it.

I'm fine with a lot of color palettes and designs; so long as the colors look decent, and match the design, I like it.

I seem to prefer adults. I know for a fact that I don't want a PPS; I want my Kias to be able to have complex relationships, and even be able to settle down with a family. I would, however, love to have a nursery Kiamara that I can raise all the way to adulthood; I think that would be a wonderful experience for me. <3

Anything that really catches my eye, honestly, but it seems I prefer muted, darker colors, and horns/eyes/feathers/hair that stands out from the body.

I prefer adults, I mean the kids and teens are nice but just not my cup of tea, unless I connect with them. I am especially looking for a kid that I connect with, and seems to have, well, that outgoing, bubbly, etc kid type of personality I can jump into.

I prefer ram or squiggle horns. Like I said before I love it when they stand out from the hair or body, whether it be a less-used color on the body or just something odd, but suiting.

For the feathers. I absolutely love the leg feathers! Don't even ask, I just don't know. I especially love the tail, arm, and feather earrings combined onto one Kiamara. I'm not a big fan of the necklace.

So basically, the kiamaras I go for usually have muted colors, three types of feathers, ram or squiggle horns, and that just pop out to me.

It really depends on what catches my eye, but I'm not a fan of PPS Kia's, and wouldn't try out for one unless I fell in love with it. Kid Kia's that would grow up are fine though.

pretty much anything that catches my eye, purple, green, blue, black. But NEVER pink.

I usually prefer adults. I also like either long horns or just no horns in general. I've noticed that the two kias I really wanted were orange and had stripe-ish markings, so I guess that's sort of an influence. Dark designs with unnatural colors are my weakness too ovo

I think i'd have to agree with Talon on wanting the adults more, they just float my boat better mostly. I'm fine with patterns and colors if the character can still be beautiful in my eyes. For horns, such beautiful horns, and hair, and tail and.. and feather. ;u;

Before Kuluri, I didn't plan to so much as try for a kia. I'd seen kias around and I liked the species, but I wasn't up for the competition. A friend of mine loves kias and talked to me about them a lot, and so I started browsing kias sometimes. When I saw Kuluri I was in love and my friend convinced me to apply.

After that, I started looking for a kia that could interact with Kulu. A future mate, a friend, a sister, etc. I wanted a kia whose colors and patterns would look good with her in stuff like art and whose design I loved as much as Kulu's. After I got Eleanor, my priorities have completely turned. No more dark colors, no more tons of black, no more red, no swirls, no flowers, no skulls. I want my final two kias to be as different as possible. Different horns, bright colors, different feather placements, etc. I really want one with Ram horns!

Normally I prefer adults, but kids can also catch my eye! Normally I'm not a huge PPS fan, but if I really like a kia them being PPS doesn't bug me. Really, I just want to be able to draw my last two kias and order art of them easily. Many people will not draw Kulu or Eleanor, and I have trouble drawing them myself because they're so complex.
