What do you define 'active' as?
Just because someone isn't constantly posting in the fanclub, just because they don't have art of their kiamara constantly in their siggy, just because someone doesn't draw or RP their kia 24/7 does not mean they are inactive with their kiamara, it does not mean that they are abandoning it. Sometimes the love we show for our charries is hidden, but we still love them the same.
But I don't have a kia yet. /shot

Definitely. >:3 Personally, I am in love with Keres' design. And Kifo is pretty awesome too.

What are Kerfo babies?
I draw origonal art of... Kiamara's and JBDs. I'm really good. I really want a fluffy, folded eared JBD. (: I draw art of her all of the time, just without markings.

What do you define 'active' as?
I don't think being active is like, a number of days you spend online, or an amount of art you order. To me, it's more like... Thinking about your Kia.

Many people are unable to go online every day, but many of them can be very active. They might doodle them in their spare time, or talk about them to friends that don't really care, etc. And to many of us, being active is to do things with/about your kiamara. I guess sometimes, even thinking about them counts, because although you cannot physically be with them, you are mentally.

To be active, in my opinion, is not to forget. People who can get online can be less active than wifi-less owners. What if someone who had Internet access just ignored their Kia for a while, only remembering later? Compared to a user who imagines all the updates they will post about their Kia, wishing they could be drawing their Kia on oekaki or something.

Like Mord said, you cannot SEE them, but they are being active, the "traditional" way (ehh so not digital). Even if they are online sometimes, people may be too poor to pay for art, or unable to use oekaki to show their love. Not everyone can do everything, sadly.

In short, IMO, it's the thought that counts c: (omg that mini speech was NOT organized)

What do you define 'active' as?

This is a really good question.
Active is sort of a mix of what you do with, for and about it. You might not be constantly drawing your kiamara digitaly or role playing it with many people but it does not mean you love it any less. It's just takibg even a few moments a day to appreciate and enjoy your kia, even if that means just a doodle or a few thoughts spared for it. You don't have to be on the fanclubor cs all the time to use your kia. You can write and draw and think and talk and make arts and crafts about your kia. Maybe it's even traditionally writing a poem or maybe building their home in minecraft or something. It's not firgetting about them and loving them a lot, even if you can't be online or shower them with art or roleplaying. It's as simple as maybe just thinking about how to develop their character more.

@ Bunny Love - that was so true

People say I'm starting to get inactive wth my Kias, but actually not.

They're constantly on the brain.
I'm constantly drawing them.
I'm always thinking about questions even if I don't answer
I stalk this fanclub like crazy.
I'm willing to give all my pets for art of them.
I'm constantly trying to evenly spread my love between three Kiamaras.
I always think of how to develop them further.
I don't check messages here. If you've found me through other websites or communities such as deviantART/Kiamaras, my characters are not for sale and never will be.

I also agree with Bunny Love and Rivkah.

Mylo doesn't have many relationships at the moment, and I'm currently seeking roleplays for him to take part in, but there are drawings of him all over my deviant and throughout my sketchbooks. He's the only character of mine I've actually ordered art for. His character is clear to me, and I just feel attached to him. I'm don't post all the time on the Fanclub or the Forum, but I'd say that I'm actively on them none the less.

Speaking of art, look at the lovely art I got from mimi911 in an art trade. Thanks, Mimi. ^^

What do you define 'active' as?
If you are not willing to accept my opinion on this topic then you might as well stop reading now.

In my complete and most genuine honest opinion, I myself have to say that being active is actually roleplaying, displaying and drawing your kiamara. Simply thinking about them or just shoving them in a character page and leaving them there isn't being "active", it's only caring for them without full contribution. Think of it as a broken ankle. You're not going to do any physical activity, but you're thinking about it all the time. That is not being active, it's only your own thoughts that are kept to only yourself (unless being shared, of course, which shows activity.), and you're not showing true "activeness" through socialization, etc.. (I realise this is a stupid comparison but either accept my opinion as my own or just stop reading.) Your mind can be full of many things, but your actions are what make you active, not what you think of. If you really loved your kia, you would make an effort to use them as much as YOU feel possible, and not just go and apply because you want to show them off as a trophy of superiority and dominance over what I understand would be tough competition. Mango's definition should not be ignored as it is, because it is actually accurate. People are ignoring the fact that activity is mostly based on seeing these kias around and being used to a fair extent, not just being left in the dark closet of their owners' mind where they are trapped there and left alone with no fodder of social activity or any contributed gifts. Everyone is just trying to make up excuses to cover their inactivity, which, I will not judge, but, it shows as a prime example of trying to cover up genuine inactivity. There would be no need for excuses if you were actually being "active".

Thank you for reading this, if you have.

heres my thoughts on being active

i consider someone active as long as they are loving their kia, roleplaying with it, drawing/ordering art of it, etc., regardless of whether other people see it or not. you don't necessarily need to show the whole world in order to be considered active with your kiamara.

being active in the community however is a completely different thing.
hey i kinda quit cs hahahaha oops
