New daemon forums are fine provided they follow daemonism, which precious few actually do. A lot of the younger members create daemon sites when they first join TDF, but barely anything comes of them because TDF is the largest and most accurate source on daemonism. While of course we have national daemon forums for people who can't speak English, most anything else will be pointless because of lack of enough members to make the experience worthwhile, lack of up to date information on daemonism, etc.

Well, TDP* would be essentially exactly the same thing. TDP just doesn't get updated anymore (does it?).

I don't think you saw past the main page, but the site I8chichi made was a forum, so more like TDF. TDP doesn't get updated with anything that matters, but I think Art or something of as little consequence was updated fairly recently.

Well, except for this thread, after being permanently banned from TDF I've had nowhere else to go. And my Spanish isn't enough for me to be able to communicate with other daemians on that forum. So a new English speaking group is bound to get me excited.

Why'd you get banned? Am I even allowed to ask that? O.O;

ANYWAY, I think a lot of people create daemon forums because they want to be like TDF... which, I guess, is the reason a lot of people create adoptables sites, because they want to be like CS or some other big forum... err... what was my point, here, again? XD

I think the reason nothing usually ever comes of them is because they aren't maintained nearly as well as TDF is. Making a big, popular forum takes work, dedication, and, often, the ability to do a lot and lot of advertising. When you're young, like me, your mind tends to bounce from project to project quickly, and you don't have much concentration on any one thing. I know that I've started a lot of stories that I've later forgotten about because I just wasn't interested in them anymore past the first few chapters or so. I think that's generally the same thing, eh? ^.^;
