Well, if you don't like researching, don't research*? Your daemon can be nameless, it's okay. If you do research you might pressure yourself into picking a name you don't really like all that much (I mean, you might not, but it sounds like something I'd do xP). Try just thinking of syllables you like? Or words you particularly like; you can also smush those together to get a nice name.

EDIT: * NAMES. If you don't want to research names in particular. xD Not everybody finds their daemon's name with research. Definitely research forms, though. c:

I found out Karo's name by combining syllables that I found attractive, but that trick may not work for everyone.

Hey guys. Me and Gabriel here. He's lately been running around as Wolfdog, instead of just a wolf.

Gabriel's name came to me after going through Sachiel, then Sariento. Sachiel still kind of slips into my mouth sometimes, but Gabriel really fit's him. I thought of it after reading the book Halo. I should of realized that that had been his name the whole time. Ever since I was small, that one angel's name in the bible stuck with me. Then after reading that book, it really popped out at me. So I named him that.

And I just randomly popped into the conversation after months of absences. Sorry guys! *embarrassed*

Kou's name came from a oneshot fanfic I read years ago. It was one of my favorites...ever. Too bad it's gone now. But Kou may be having another name change soon. He seems to want to be called Rojurou, after a favorite anime character of mine >.>*

Naric's name came from just looking up names. I don't really remember my thoughts on it at the time- I named him when he was kicking around before I discovered daemianism- but I cannot see him having any other name, really.

As for where it came from, a website. I was searching for a character name when I saw Cyrus and really liked it for my daemon better than the stupid Japanese name we had before. The conversation went somewhat like this.

"Your name is now Cyrus. This is non-negotiable."
"'kay. Anything is better than the weeaboo name I had before."

He's been Takk, Joss, and Rathnik in the past. Kusari too, I think. Now he's Kousei, or Kou for short. Though...if we do go with the name change, he'll be Rojurou. I love all the names dearly, even though a few of em make me sound like a weeaboo. Eh, it's mainly cuz with each form came a new name. His Manectric form was known as Kousei. So he kinda wants to throw that out since he's a Spotted Skunk now.

RE daemon names (what it means and how I found it):

Frithjoroth

"Frith- johr- oth"

Frith:
1.) "asylum, sanctuary"
2.) "inextricably related to the state of kinship"
3.) "everything good that can exist in life."

Some of you might have heard me blather on about this before, but whatever. Frith is the best name for a daemon ever so there >:U

Orginally "Tiger" after a horned anime character, it was more of the word for what was rather than who he was. He flitted through various unfit names - Mashu "Shoe", Thyandoros "Tiger", Rikuari, and other crap like that. I found the original word that lead me to his name on accident. I was trying to name a character and was looking up Norse names and found the word "Frithjofr" meaning peace theif.

That particular set of letters jivved well to me, but wasn't quite right. Now, back at this time I was still heavily into "journaling" and quite a few times when I meant to write Fritjofr - it came to Frithjoroth, which was how my brain decided to prounouce it anyway.



Accessories: While I as well don't think their analyzed, that they can be symbolic or silly or just wth. xD Because gawd they are apart of your imagination.
Frith always has jay-feathers tucked up between toes or behind an ear. Its a symbolic version of my engagement ring. But he's been known to run around with a pair of boxers on, or random bangles or bandannas. X3
