We watched The NeverEnding Story a few weeks back and as a result Les now takes the form of a miniature luckdragon pretty frequently.

Also, the boyfriend is still doing research (he's pretty lazy, though, I really have to "encourage" him to do so) but after reading the analysis he decided he's most likely a white raccoon dog. I'm pretty stoked he's so interested XD

Daemons are not fursonas. Fursonas can be whatever the hell you want, and don't have to represent anything. Daemons are the other half of your inner dialogue (unless you are unseparated) and they are represented by an animal form that fits you personality.

I am a non-believer, I think. I am not really sure what one is as I am not allowed to watch The Golden Compass. Don't freak out about how unfair my parents are or anything. Haven't you ever gotten the feeling that something horrible was going to happen if you did something? Well I have had that feeling twice: Whilst reading the last Twilight book( In which I discontinued reading it), and watching the Golden Compass trailor. So while my dad probably won't let me see it, I also don't want to.

Anyway, so I clicked your link to the page with the information, but there isn't any there yet. So some explaining on what it is and how this all works, and maybe if this is an actual belief thing? It kind of creeps me out that people would think that these things actually exist. I don't mean to offend, or judge, just to understand.

Actually, fursonas are an animal representation of yourself. They have to represent one thing-You. They cannot be whatever the ____ you want. But, that's getting off-topic.
