Hullo~ I'm Kamaliah, the lazy butt who hasn't posted here in a day or so, and my daemon is Mozart, a settled Long-tailed Pygmy Possum who is generally insulting and rude.

Stabledom (lol at my cheap excuse of trying to remember the term) is pretty normal if you take a form for a while, is it not? I thought most waited a while before saying they were settled. Or perhaps that's lazy asses like mwah. ;D

I thought settled just meant your personality hasn't changed for a while, and you can't see it changing? Adding an animal label that that fits doesn't seem to make much of a difference to me- but that's just me.

They do wait a while. P: Atleast, a lot do. Some people say it faster, some crisis - some don't. It's a good rule-of-wrist to wait a while, to save yourself a crisis and the embrassment (even though I should be so embrassed I should die, but I'm not the caring type), and to give yourself time to work the kinks out.

Um yeah that is the difference. The difference of being settled without knowing the form is being settled unknown rather than x animal that kind of fits but I'm techincally settled in personality. You can be SETTLED, and not have a form.

Steve explained it to a T. That's why I'm not proclaiming settledom, I'm a teen and the chance of something personality-changing happening is pretty damn high at the moment. So I'ma drift along as a stable person. :3

Then wouldn't calling settled be something that should wait anyway? o.O An animal (or insect, etc.) is going to fit your settled personality no matter what, so I just don't really see how adding said form is a bad thing if it's done quickly. If a 30-year-old who's 100% settled came on the forum and found their animal the same day/week/month, and the personality fit completely, then would they be told to not call settled, despite them not having a changing personality?

Refer to my other post. Working out kinks with the form, double checking, and making sure it fits never hurt anyone. Some do some don't. I said some people do wait, not everyone has to wait or it's not like they're not settled. You'll never know what will fit and won't fit if you have a specific form and never bothered to look much.

edit: Okay I see your confused. Yes you can be 30. You can be settled in your personality and ways, but that doesn't make some random form fit you more than others. I'm not talking about the fact that you are or aren't settled, I'm talking about the form actually fitting you and waiting and researching.

I'm Settled Unknown since I've started gravitating away from Crocotta. I don't know what my form is, but my personality is not changing and I can see my personality being the same for a long long time.

Even though zebra dog thylacine is working out super great. I feel like it's a great fit, I love it.
