Is it possible to have a human daemian?

I guess so, TigressMin does.

Huuuuum the consensus is generally no, because you cannot analyze a human. TigressMin joined before we were really heavily enforcing daemonism. ^^

I firgured so at first when I saw that, she was the only one with a human one...

No you can't be settled as a human, because that makes no sense. xD Of course your DAEMON can be a human if you want. But your settled form cannot be a human because that's not what daemonism is. Daemonism is about finding an animal form. You can't be a 10 on the Ennegram when there's only 9 types. And anyway what would having a human form say about you? Nothing, except that you are a human. Duh. P:

There's at least half of the brain making incomprehensible noises, and really, it's more in character for it to be more of the kid's side than mine. So don't mind me.

Personally, I wish people would stop calling the representative animal the "daemon's" form, as that terminology leads straight to the "but my daemon doesn't take/like to take the form! ;_;" confusion that distresses a lot of newbies.

This is why the quiz things say 'my form is' instead of 'my dæmon is'. See, there is method in this one's madness. Also madness. Oh look, I've come over all Eleven again. Anywho, there is agreement with you from this party on the matter of word usage.

There is nothing wrong with that. Contrary to the speed at which this thread moves, we are actually quite patient people and we like large blocks of text (well, more long posts with lots of paragraph breaks, don't do the wall of text thing) full of nice detail.

It occurs to me that making this text my colour and in the way that I phrase things may be awkward, because people have said that having full conversations with dæmons is odd. But the collective I can't be bothered rewriting it in a more Zoe-like manner (ie: full of capslock excitement and smileys), and if I just take the colour off it may seem like the kid has come over serious suddenly. Or maybe you can't tell the difference. I think this is the longest thing I've ever said, and the collective I is noticing that there are some differences in writing style. So I apologise. Technically a lot of what you read from this party is this bit anyway, because Zoe steals everything productive that I say. And we often don't know which of us said it at any rate.

*nods towards DA's comment* Though 'practicing' might be a strong word? This isn't a religion with practices. That said I can't think of a better term.
