Thanks, I'm sorry for being newbish. >_<
So, "settled", "unsettled", and so on is a personality status? I don't believe my personality will take any drastic changes.
Hey, no problem! We're here to help. c: But yeah, whether you are settled or is all to do with your personality. As Com says, 17/18 is generally considered a decent time to claim almost-settledom. Many people move out at this age, whether to go into employment or go to university, which provides a great many new challenges and potential for change so even then you might not be settled. :3 There are two sides to daemons, really: the relationship, imaginary friend, conversations, form projecting etc on the one hand, and the personality typing, finding a form that fits you, etc on the other hand. We just like to smoosh the two things together, so that "my daemon is settled" REALLY means "I am settled" - it's become a sort of codified language, I suppose, where 'my daemon' just means 'me' and not 'my daemon' at all (since my daemon could be a blobfish literally right now, but my personality would still be a marten, and some people don't even have a daemon but still have a form). I can understand why someone might look at the way we speak about our daemons and draw the conclusion that they are more strongly linked to the personality typing than they really are. xD

~Blue.dragonfly~: Stable is when your personality has not changed for a long period of time, say a couple of years, but you do not think you are settled for good yet. Lots of people might become stable as one thing between the ages of 15 and 18, then move out and their personality changes so that they are essentially unsettled again. And then maybe at age 21 they become stable as one thing again, and then later decide they are settled forever.
