and by the way, she's blushing in the other picture X3 thought she was adorable blushing <3 She's partially blind, that's why one of her eyes is different.
this is swan dive :3 i'mma write a little something about her gaining her cutie mark, i'd love if anybody could critique.
Swan dive was trotting along a well worn trail, where you could see slight indents where wagons had their wheels, when long ago ponies had moved to the area to start a new life, to get away from city traffic and the crowded streets, that had been filled with sickness and filth. It was swan's birthday today, and she had hoped her mother would send a gift, but to her dismay she got nothing but from her two friends peachy cream and sweet peach, as well as her father snowdrip. She loved the gifts, her father got her a beautiful light and dark blue striped scarf and light blue ear muffs, and her two friends put together their money to get her a pet, a German Shepherd named Chocolate. He was only about five months old, but he already attached himself to her and won't leave her side.
She chuckled, leaning down to nuzzle the pup and then looked over to the lake, which was a few feet away. "Might as well go for a swim..." She murmured, stepping off the path and weaving her way through the least blocked path, which she had cleared the day before. Soon the sound of quaking hit her ears, and she turned towards the sound. A duckling was by the water, sticking one foot in and then drawing back. "Poor thing..." Swan slowly walked over near it, telling Chocolate to stay and slipping into the cool, clear water.
Slowly steering herself towards it, she looked at the duckling and smiled, her hooves touching the bottom of the lake. Her mane swirled in the water next to her, looking odd as the light pastel like blue contrasted against the brown rocky bottom. Motioning the duckling towards her, the small bird slowly started coming into the water, soon going to where it could barely touch. "Now move your legs, like this!" She lifted her hooves up to show how. The duck copied, making a happy quaking sound as it started to instantly float and move around.
In a flurry of feathers the mother came flying over, almost crashing into swan dive as it landed. I think my work here is done. She thought to herself, gently half swimming half walking to the edge where Chocolate was waiting. she fanned herself with her wings to dry off somewhat and trotted home, not noticing the new mark on her flank.
"Hey my little princess!" Her father greeted her, trotting up to her and giving her a hug. "Hey, what's this?" He glanced towards the new cutie mark. "Now when did you get that?" He pointed with his horn to it, and swan dive looked at it and gasped. "Oh my gosh! I got it! I finally got it!" She hopped around her father, laughing gleefully and then performing a small flip in the air as soon as she got high enough in the air.
