I'm getting really annoyed by DA artists asking me to send them cash using the "Family and Friends" options because "it doesn't have a fee."
Yes it does have a fee, that fee just gets moved onto me.
If the fee was included in the price of the adoptable and you stated that I wouldn't mind, but they never do.
On top of that, I'm not sending it to family and Friends I'm paying for Someone's services and that violates Paypal's terms of services.
I don't live in the states so I already have to pay more than the standard price due to the exchange rate, don't try to lump more fee's onto me >:(
So by them asking me to incur the fee, they're asking me to pay $3 extra (if not more of less depending on the money I'm sending) than the price they state.

-huff- though it seems most of them don't know about the fee getting moved onto the person paying. They really should learn more about the services they're using.

It doesn't have a fee if you have a balance in your paypal account c:
I'm pretty sure that if you pay from your bank account, but using paypal in between, then it charges something.

That would be fine if Paypal let you add funds to your account, but they don't.
So if you don't have any reason to be getting paid through paypal, you don't have funds in your account, therefore you have to pay with debit and incur the fee's.

Im so confused about what to do....I love brink like it kills me to even think about this...I dont feel like he fits me as much as he used too and I dont feel as connected as i used too. But i dont want to retire him because i would still want him used. what do i do? D=
I am kinda thinking about Gifting him to Wes. but i dont know if i would ever be able to give him up...

I don't get really fursonas but, can't you just keep him as a main character?
If there's something in particular about him that you have grown tired of, you could always revamp his design a little bit, or give him some new accessories. Or perhaps breed him and start using one of his puppies as a new main/fursona/whatever you are looking for. That way his legacy continues.

Just a couple of ideas to consider. I think you would regret it if you ever let him go.

I don't think your paypal/bank account connection is set up correctly? Because I can add funds to my Paypal just fine. It's best to have money sitting in your paypal so you can pay a seller instantly, otherwise you have to wait 3-5 days for the bank transfer part of the transaction. I have no idea what payment type I am supposed to request from an art/character customer. It just says in my account that they sent the money and I can see it in my account. </paypal noob>

I only really sell art/characters on DA, I don't tend to buy for RL money. I have too many characters in want of art, if I shelled out $ for them all they would drive me broke
