I'm not sure if this is the place to ask this but,

I asked a user if I could buy a character off them for a large sum of DA points. They needed the points desperatly for an adopt so I sent them the points, however I was a hundred points short. I asked them if I could make up the difference in CS pets and they said yes, so i sent the trade. The trade has been sitting there rotting, and I even PMed the user about it after finding that they had deleted the character I was going to buy off their character site. They read my PMs but never replied back even though they've been actively posting on CS. -_-

I was just wondering what I should do?

You should ask for your points back.
If not, screen the evidence and report it on DA.
After that, blacklist the person and keep tabs on their account should they change their username and try to scam (Intentionally or not) other people.

If they bought the character using your points, you could also bring it up with the person who sold the adopt and perhaps have the character confiscated.

Find a way to send the remaining 100 points and consider the character yours if you properly paid for it?

It took me like 10 and a half hours in total, but I finally finished chibis of 23 of my characters.

I'm not too sure if I want to do this with all of my characters...

Could someone possibly crop them all out and keep the transparency? ;D; (The only ones which should stay together, so to speak, would be the two cats cuddling at the top and the male human with the fox right next to him (both have 'platinum' colourings x3))

Do you frequently change fursonas, or have you stayed consistently with fursonas you chose?

I have five sonas, and though I have demoted two of them before, the longest it was for like a day |D
Lynt and Kidd were my first ever sonas and hopefully will always be <3

Do you prefer male or female characters? Or do you like both? Why?

I'm not too sure... xD

Once you make a character into your fursona, do you feel as if you've lost some of that connection?

Lynt and Kidd were made to be my sonas, and they developed over time xD
Hiroaki, though came to me in a dream, was, again, designed to be a sona.
Danny was probably my favourite character, and since he's become a sona I love him even more x3 Same with Emily.

I'm incredibly bad at picking favourites so... ._.

Do you buy characters on impulse or do you think about it before you buy the character?

Impulse always.

Well, all of my sonas share a lot of the same traits, but each just has that certain trait which I can't see in any of my other ones, y'know?
Lynt- Vengeful thoughts (my other sonas kinda have it, but you'd be suprised as to what goes through my mind.)
Kidd- Childishness and hyper.
Hiroaki- Smart/witty.
Danny- Comical.
Emily- I'd say that she's pretty quiet... eue
Funnily enough, they all seem to share my bad traits (argumentative, over-reactive, insensitive, rude, arragont, cocky, not modest at all, etc.)

^ Yes. I don't have the art...so sending the points would be pretty much useless. I also have no way of getting DA points, as my mother deactivated my DA. XP

But I'm sure it's no big deal guys.

I don't think you are overracting.
If you don't do anything, your points will go to waste and with every day you wait the chances rise that you will enver get the character and artwork.
I had several bad experiences with similar siutations in the past and I never got for what I payed for, so hurry up and learn from my mistakes c;
If nothing helps, then you should report them if there is no other way.
