Okay, that last quote was kind of hard, so I'll give you the answer...
"Maybe it's the other way around. Maybe people with special gifts appear when bad things are happening because that's when they're needed most," -Jason Grace
I'll do an easier quote today, but first...
Question(s) of the Day:
*SPOILER ALERT. DO NOT READ IF YOU HAVE NOT FINISHED THE MARK OF ATHENA*
What do you think Percy and Annabeth will have to face in Tartarus?
If two half-bloods have to take Percy and Annabeth's places in Tartarus to close the Doors of Death, who do you think is most likely to offer themselves? Who do you want to stay and survive the series?
My answer: All I know is, Annabeth HAS to survive the series. After what happened to her in the Mark of Athena, falling into Tartarus really didn't seem fair. That much such a sad moment when Annabeth got dragged away by that silk stuff, then they were all like, "As long as we're together," and fell into a bottomless hole.

At any rate, I doubt Rick Riordan would just kill off his two main characters...would he? (DUN DUN DUN!) No, I doubt he would.

Anyways, here is today's Guess the Character: (sorry, a quote again)
"Being a hero doesn't mean you're invincible. It just means you're brave enough to stand up and do what's needed," -???
and
“Hercules, huh? That guy was like the Starbucks of Ancient Greece. Everywhere you turn, there he is.” -???
NOTES: I do not own either one of these quotes, they are Rick Riordan's and only Rick Riordan's. These two quotes may be from the same person, maybe not.
LONG post!
