Hello, my name is irukandji. I read The Hunger Games trilogy almost a year ago (planning to reread again soon!) My favorite character is Katniss, but I also like Rue, Peeta, and Effie. I own a Katniss Barbie, Mockingjay pin, and her arena jacket. I also made a bow and covered it in silver duck tape. My favorite district is district 3. I love technology!

No problem. So let's start out the chat.
What is your favorite part of the Hunger Games movie that has been added in/changed? I really enjoy the part where District 11 rebels, giving us an edge, teaching us that the districts aren't exactly peaceful. It is also very heroic, making it a great part, especially while crying from Rue's death.

That scene is the first one that comes to mind. It really reminds me of just how strong the Districts can be, but aren't because they are too afraid.

I wonder why the districts didn't think about just lagging behind on their production.

(To me) It's probably because they were scared that their loved ones would be hurt if they didn't do their job, and they also needed the money.
