(The photos aren't too high quality since I just took them quickly with my iPhone.)
Here's his original reference as a comparison:

(Drawn and designed by ChitChatCafe on dA.)
I used a store bought wooden manikin as a base and made the clothes out of felt and some kind of regular fabric. I also made the face and hair with clay and painted them. The doll is a foot tall if you are wondering about the scale. I still need to make his scythe and headphones which will be fairly difficult and then I'm just going to add a few more details and neaten up the paint on his face. I may or may not add the colored squares to the bottom of his jacket since while they're there in the reference and I like them on his design, I feel that they don't look very good on the doll. I'm also wondering whether I should glue the little clay sea gull that I made to the base of his stand or not.
This is the first time I've ever tried making anything like this, so that's why it didn't turn out too well. If I make another, I might try to use felt for the hair instead of clay and will find a better brand of clay to use since the one I have isn't that great. I'll also take more time to design the face, since I got tired of working and just rushed on that.
Just since I finished the doll, I thought I'd post another picture. Here's a picture of him with his scythe and headphones added:

Also, since it's a bit difficult to see in all of the photos I've posted, here's the sea gull that I added to his stand:

If anyone didn't see the images in my original post, it's only a few pages back. I just removed them when quoting it since they were quite large.
