I do like the dogs myself as well, the colors are like fireworks, maybe these guys? Their colors made me think of fireflies.

We could easily hoard a whole litter, easy, and I think for our first hoard, a common and under would be our best bet. Then we can work towards higher rarity like uncommon, or even rare if we want to push the limit.

So far, it seems everyone is into the owls and the dogs.

I like that idea, because they are based off of Christmas lights, but all except the green one aren't too bright.

I really like Izzy's ideas with Leuria's littler, cause they are cute, and do like fireflys. I'm loving the uncommon of that litter- but that might be a bit too much for our first hoard.
The only problem with these are that they are from 2010, which is pretty old in the grand scheme of CS. Then we have to worry about committing to the hoard, because they are uncommon, and one is even a rare.
