I have a couple characters that I really love and can't seem to let go of but hardly use. I thought of retiring them.

What do you think of retiring characters?
I can understand that for a fursona, as I dont believe fursonas made by you should veer be sold, but characters? :/ Characters are nothing without stories, art and care to support them. Personally if I dont use a character I could never retire it...It just seems...wrong? And I hate seeing retired characters unless of course, their old sonas. I sold my old sonas and I was so relieved to get them back. Though I dont use them they were made to represent me. I cant sell that. But I dont find any good purpose in retiring a character. If you want to keep it and think you can use it in the future but just not yet, then keep it, but if not, I wouldn't resort to retiring if I know Ill never use it...
