Ever owned a pair of froglets? I caught some tadpoles once and raised them on my African dwarf frog's food! They grew back legs, then front legs, and before I knew it I had a very tiny pair of frogs! They looked like this:


(Not pictures of the froglets I owned but same age and species.)
I named one Mint, I forget what I named the other but I could tell them apart because mint as a tadpole got a rip in her tail and it still was sort of a scar when she became a froglet. They never grew into adult frogs while I owned them though because they got too big for their cage and too old for the sinking aquatic frog food so I released them into the wild.

Gawd fans these days XD and if your wondering that is based off an anime frog XD to tell the truth, my username is from the anime! YESH THEY MADE AN ANIME ABOUT ALIEN FROGS! *bables on and on about the show*
Anyways its more of an awkward-funny show that they only translated 78 episodes of atleast they have the slightly less funnier japanese version (With english subtitles)

I was just reading the above posts and I have to say that yes, my two frogs are ones I've raised myself. I have a pond in my garden, and I decided to take a pair of frogspawn from it. I figured I could at least try and raise them myself, wanting a pet and not being able to afford anymore mice.

I'm impressed they're still alive, and so are my parents. I thought it would be difficult in the winter when they hibernate, and that they may pass away then, but mine never showed any signs of wanting to hibernate at all, which is good. ^^ They'll be a year old in march.

I miss their tadpole stage, they were certainly cute. But it's interesting seeing them grow legs and such.
